This is a Simplenote
This is a silly example note published with Simplenote using Markdown formatting. If this had been a plain-text formatted note, then the above headline would look like a paragraph set in bold (auto-title). If you look closely at the document title in your browser, you can see the ‘#’ prefix that denotes a headline in Markdown, and stands witness to a lack of quality control from Simplenote.
Embedded image files like the one above must be hosted from elsewhere (over HTTPS) as there is no support for image upload and hosting in Simplenote.
