==Old HP machines - Done Through DOS==

Boot to USB Stick and type in: NBDMIFIT and then follow on-screen instructions. (press P rp program serial number). When asked to Append SKU number just press enter. Some laptop's require a CT number (usually found under the RAM slot - better off writing it down before putting the new board in). Some laptop's need another boot option turning on EUFI ?

To re-set to defaults if above goes wrong: Hold down Windows Key and Left Arrow and Right Arrow at same time as powering on to default settings.
Boot to USB stick: Type in: "CPQTAG"
CPQTAG WRITE DEFAULTS
Will need CT number from system board.

Old HP laptops USB stick won't work. Jack has some CDs and Fred has a floppy disk. Otherwise type in in DOS: cpqtag write serial xxxxxx

Product Configuration ID
