"How to..." Videos for Envato Market Buyers Contest

We’re Envato - the promoter of this competition, and these are our promo terms - please read them!

  • All community members are eligible to enter so long as they are 18 years of age or older.

  • Anyone who enters must complete our entry form and provide a valid PayPal email address. The email address must be the same one that you use to access your PayPal account.

  • Envato staff may enter but are not eligible for any prizes.

  • Each community member may submit an unlimited number of entries during the contest period.

  • All entries must be posted to our official contest thread prior to *12am midnight between Monday, November 30 and Tuesday, December 1, 2015 * (AEDT). No entries will be accepted after that time.

  • Winners must have a valid PayPal account in good standing to receive a prize. Prizes are not transferable in any way.

  • The promotion will be judged on set criteria by a group of Envato staff. Judges will be looking for well presented videos with usefulness and utility for buyers to help them greater succeed at Envato Market. All decisions made about this promotion by the judges and the promoter are final.

  • Winners will be announced by December 11, 2015 and the individual winner will be contacted via e-mail.

  • Each entrant may win a maximum combination of $2,000. e.g. Someone could create 12 videos across all Envato Market site categories, but only win Best Video for 3 of those categories AND either the Grand Prize or Runner-up prize (a maximum total of $2,000). A winner can only win one of either the Grand Prize or the Runner-up prize, not both.

  • The $5,000 USD PayPal prize fund will consist of the following prizes:

  • Grand Prize > Best Overall Video > $500

  • Runner-up > Best Overall Video > $500
  • Best Video for ThemeForest Buyers > $500
  • Best Video for CodeCanyon Buyers > $500
  • Best Video for GraphicRiver Buyers > $500
  • Best Video for VideoHive Buyers > $500
  • Best Video for AudioJungle Buyers > $500
  • Best Video for PhotoDune Buyers > $500

  • Best Community Ideas/Suggestions > $1,000 (10 x $100)

  • The Grand Prize winner will also be awarded the Won a Contest community badge.

  • All prizes are to be deposited into the PayPal account of each winner. Please allow upto 4 weeks for any PayPal prizes to be sent.

  • You grant us an ongoing worldwide, royalty-free non-exclusive license to use your entry for the purposes of managing this promotion, and for any promotional activity we do.

  • We’ll only use your information for the purposes of managing and administering this promotion - you can’t enter without giving us some information so we know who wins and how to get a prize to you! Please see our privacy policy for more information about how we deal with personal information.

  • Play fair! We reserve the right not to award prizes, to disqualify entrants, and to discontinue a contest if there is any illegal or fraudulent behaviour and also to cancel the promotion if there are any circumstances that mean the promotion can’t be run as planned, this includes technical issues, hacking, natural disasters and anything else beyond our control.

  • This promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer or coupon.

  • Entrants are responsible for meeting any tax obligations that come up as a result of this promotion.

  • You promise to us that any information that you provide to us is true and correct and your entry is your own original creation and work, and does not infringe the rights (including copyright) of any other person. You promise to indemnify us in relation to any loss or damage resulting from any breach of this promise whether it is on purpose or not.

  • PayPal is not responsible for the promotions offered by Envato Pty Ltd and you should read the Terms & Conditions carefully before you take part in this promotion.
