Psalms Chapter 65 תְּהִלִּים

1 For the leader. A psalm of David. A song.
א לַמְנַצֵּחַ מִזְמוֹר, לְדָוִד שִׁיר.

2 Praise befits You in Zion, O God; vows are paid to You;
ב לְךָ דֻמִיָּה תְהִלָּה אֱלֹהִים בְּצִיּוֹן; וּלְךָ, יְשֻׁלַּם-נֶדֶר.


3 all mankind comes to You, You who hear prayer.
ג שֹׁמֵעַ תְּפִלָּה-- עָדֶיךָ, כָּל-בָּשָׂר יָבֹאוּ.


4 When all manner of sins overwhelm me, it is You who forgive our iniquities.
ד דִּבְרֵי עֲו‍ֹנֹת, גָּבְרוּ מֶנִּי; פְּשָׁעֵינוּ, אַתָּה תְכַפְּרֵם.


5 Happy is the man You choose and bring near to dwell in Your courts; may we be sated with the blessings of Your house, Your holy temple.
ה אַשְׁרֵי, תִּבְחַר וּתְקָרֵב-- יִשְׁכֹּן חֲצֵרֶיךָ:
נִשְׂבְּעָה, בְּטוּב בֵּיתֶךָ; קְדֹשׁ, הֵיכָלֶךָ.


6 Answer us with victory through awesome deeds, O God, our deliverer, in whom all the ends of the earth and the distant seas put their trust;
ו נוֹרָאוֹת, בְּצֶדֶק תַּעֲנֵנוּ-- אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעֵנוּ;
מִבְטָח כָּל-קַצְוֵי-אֶרֶץ, וְיָם רְחֹקִים.


7 who by His power fixed the mountains firmly, who is girded with might,
ז מֵכִין הָרִים בְּכֹחוֹ; נֶאְזָר, בִּגְבוּרָה.


8 who stills the raging seas, the raging waves, and tumultuous peoples.
ח מַשְׁבִּיחַ, שְׁאוֹן יַמִּים--שְׁאוֹן גַּלֵּיהֶם; וַהֲמוֹן לְאֻמִּים.


9 Those who live at the ends of the earth are awed by Your signs; You make the lands of sunrise and sunset shout for joy.
ט וַיִּירְאוּ, יֹשְׁבֵי קְצָו‍ֹת--מֵאוֹתֹתֶיךָ; מוֹצָאֵי בֹקֶר וָעֶרֶב תַּרְנִין.


10 You take care of the earth and irrigate it; You enrich it greatly, with the channel of God full of water; You provide grain for men; for so do You prepare it.
י פָּקַדְתָּ הָאָרֶץ וַתְּשֹׁקְקֶהָ, רַבַּת תַּעְשְׁרֶנָּה-- פֶּלֶג אֱלֹהִים, מָלֵא מָיִם; תָּכִין דְּגָנָם, כִּי-כֵן תְּכִינֶהָ.


11 Saturating its furrows, levelling its ridges, You soften it with showers, You bless its growth.
יא תְּלָמֶיהָ רַוֵּה, נַחֵת גְּדוּדֶהָ; בִּרְבִיבִים תְּמֹגְגֶנָּה, צִמְחָהּ תְּבָרֵךְ.


12 You crown the year with Your bounty; fatness is distilled in Your paths;
יב עִטַּרְתָּ, שְׁנַת טוֹבָתֶךָ; וּמַעְגָּלֶיךָ, יִרְעֲפוּן דָּשֶׁן.


13 the pasturelands distill it; the hills are girded with joy.
יג יִרְעֲפוּ, נְאוֹת מִדְבָּר; וְגִיל, גְּבָעוֹת תַּחְגֹּרְנָה.


14 The meadows are clothed with flocks, the valleys mantled with grain; they raise a shout, they break into song.
יד לָבְשׁוּ כָרִים, הַצֹּאן-- וַעֲמָקִים יַעַטְפוּ-בָר;
יִתְרוֹעֲעוּ, אַף-יָשִׁירוּ.
