On the 16th, the Korea Fencing Association completed the selection of players to participate in the men's saber, women's saber, and women's epee individual and team events, as well as the men's foil and men's epee individual events at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

‘Young blood’ Park Sang-won and Do Gyeong-dong will take the place of Kim Jun-ho (Hwaseong City Hall) and Kim Jeong-hwan (Korea Sports Promotion Foundation), who previously collaborated with Oh Sang-wook and Koo Bon-gil to win gold medals at the Tokyo Olympics, the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Asian Games, and the 2023 Hangzhou Asian Games. This has been filled.

For athletes participating in the team competition, the Fencing Association combined the world ranking (70%) and the national team coach's athlete evaluation (30%) and granted the right to participate in the Olympics to the top four.

Song Se-ra (Busan Metropolitan City Hall), Kang Young-mi (Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Office), Lee Hye-in (Gangwon Provincial Office), and Choi In-jeong (Gyeryong City Hall) will participate in the women's epee team event, which won the silver medal at the Tokyo Olympics.

In the women's saber team event, Ji-su Yoon, Ha-young Jeon (Seoul Metropolitan City Hall), Se-bin Choi (Jeonnam Provincial Office), and Eun-hye Jeon (Jung-gu Office, Incheon Metropolitan City) form the team. If you obtain a ticket to the Olympic team event, three people per country can automatically participate in the individual event in that event. Athletes from countries that did not participate in the team event can participate in the individual event through world rankings and regional preliminaries. Accordingly, Ha Tae-gyu (Chungnam Sports Council) won the individual event in the men's foil and Kim Jae-won (Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu Office) won the individual event in the men's epee.
