Media Selection The Greatest Player in Asian Football History!

Britain's "Give Me Sports" selected the top 10 "The Greatest Player in Asian Football History" on the 21st (Korea Standard Time).

The No. 1 player is Son Heung-min, who is currently serving as Tottenham Hotspur's captain. Since joining the club in 2015, Son has been making history. He is the icon of Korean soccer as he scored his 100th goal in the Premier League for the first time in Asia, and became the first top five European leagues to score a goal, and won Korea's first Puskas Award. He has also scored 46 goals and 20 assists as a member of the Korean national team. Having no winning career is a "hellish tee."

Second place went to Cha Bum-kun. He is the "ancestor" of Korean overseas soccer. He played for Darmstadt, Frankfurt and Leverkusen in the Bundesliga and scored a total of 98 goals. Currently, he runs the "Cha Bum-kun Soccer Class" to train young people. He also scored 58 goals as a member of the Korean national team and won the Asian Games in 1978.

Park Ji-sung, the "happy father," was ranked fourth. He is Korea's No. 1 Premier Leaguer. He played for Manchester United and was coached by "master" Alex Ferguson. As his nickname is "two hearts," he showed tremendous performance. Currently, he is serving as the technical director of Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors in the K-League after retirement.

In Korea, Kim Joo-sung and Hong Myung-bo were ranked 6th and 10th, respectively. Kim was nicknamed the "wild horse" when he played with long hair when he was a player. He played for Bochum in Germany for a while and spent the rest of his career with the Daewoo Royals (currently Busan I'Park). Hong Myung-bo was the hero of the 2002 World Cup finals. He became the first Asian to win a bronze ball.

Players such as Shinji Kagawa, Ali Daiei, and Hidetoshi Nakata were also selected. Korea has produced five out of 10 players. The remaining five players were selected as three from Japan, one from Iran, and one from the Philippines, respectively.
