Everly Supplies Anti-Money Laundering Technology To BCLC

This week, EVE Holdings, Inc. announced that it has been selected to supply leading anti-money laundering technology to British Columbia Lottery companies. Now, a prominent supplier of offline and online casino content will make compliance anti-money laundering solutions available to Ever for land-based and digital activities at Crown agencies.

As one of the industry's leading game providers, the company focuses on player engagement and helps partners operate with higher efficiency. It also creates entertainment game content and services for machines, gaming systems, and offline and iGaming partners. The company also offers reliable financial technology solutions that facilitate casino floor gaming.

The provider's Everi Compliance is currently implemented in more than 600 gaming facilities and is one of the most commonly used and complex anti-money laundering software in the industry. Through the contract, the provider supports BCLC, which provides lottery, casino, bingo and online gambling options for the benefit of local residents in British Columbia.

EVP and fintech business leader at Evi Darren Simmons argued that the industry is always committed to meeting customer needs as it undergoes change and creates new opportunities. He noted that Crown Company prioritized high levels of compliance as part of its continued expansion of its fast-growing business across casinos and online platforms in the province.

Finally, Mr. Simmons added that he was proud to have been selected to support BCLC's critical anti-money laundering initiatives, where the game provider's RegTech solution was designed and applied to a wide range of applications. Soon the supplier's Everi Compliance anti-money laundering will be integrated into the UK royal family's land-based and digital operations.

This latest agreement between Ebury and the BCLC represents an extension of the already existing cooperation. In April 2021, the provider had already agreed to ship its digital 3 rel stepper products to BCLC's PlayNow.com online platform. The launch was facilitated by Everly Digital, the online gaming division of a leading vendor, making it the largest provider of 3 rel stepper content to the lottery.

Earlier this year, the BCLC released its annual prize money report, which confirmed that British Colombians cashed out quite a lot of prize money in 2022. In a press release, Crown confirmed that local lottery sellers have won more than C$802 million in prize money. As a result, more than 100 million lottery tickets were sold at local retail stores or online at PlayNow.com .

The Lower Mainland and Fraser Valley regions accounted for the largest portion of C$802 million with a prize of C$382.1 million among the players.
