Ojos Locos Sports Cantina y Casino at Hotel Jefe breaks ground

The premier gambling and multimedia company for bilingual and Spanish-speaking Americans operated by Fifth Street Gaming (FSG), today announced the renovation and rebranding of the Lucky Club Casino and Hotel in North Las Vegas. The brand now officially debuted at Ozos Locos Sports Cantinay Casino at Hotel Jefe. Representatives from North Las Vegas Council Woman Pamela Goynes-Brown and Las Vegas Latino Commerce and Dining Partner, as well as Seth Schorr, CEO of FSG, attended.

FSG is a full-service hospitality and casino management company that has been targeting the Latino market for more than 15 years.

"It is estimated that 28 percent of Nevada and 18.7 percent of the U.S. identify as Latino," said Seth Schorr, CEO of Fifth Street Gaming. "This unique property will mark the first time a company has opened up space for such a vast but underserved population. Another unique feature of the property is that sportsbooks, sports bars, and restaurants are all in one layout and not separate entities."

Visitors to these renovated properties can expect food, drinks, entertainment, bets and games for the Latino and Hispanic communities. It will also include room renovations, casino interior upgrades - adding more than 200 new game consoles - and sports bars with food served by nightclubs and Ozos Locos. The casino will be run by JefeBet, which manages all the rewards and casino materials.

"Providing our services in this new property and joining forces with Zeppet is an extension of what we have formed our business base," said Rich Hicks, CEO of Ozos Locos. "The concept of Ozos Locos is centered around satisfying Latin society by allowing you to sit and relax, watch your favorite team games, party with friends, eat with family, and one of our Shika Koketa-i Bonitas to enjoy an outgoing and friendly service. We can't wait to get to work."

"With 44 percent of our city's population turning out to be Latino, we're excited to see an already established business deliver entertainment that's been created with a large portion of our residents in mind," said John Jay Lee, mayor of North Las Vegas. "We expect the Jeff Bet casino and hotel to be a wonderful addition to our community."

Operations at Nevada's 3227 Civic Center Drive will aim to begin by the end of the year. This will be the second casino owned and operated by Fifth Street Gaming, with the other being the Silver Nugget Casino.
