'Two goals, one assist' Lim Min-hyuk, K League 2 Round 6 MVP


Lim Min-hyuk (Busan) was named the MVP of the sixth round of the Hana Bank K League 2 2024.

Lim Min-hyuk recorded two goals and one assist in Busan's 4-2 victory over Cheonan at Cheonan Stadium on Tuesday. Lim scored the team's first goal and equalizer just before the end of the first half with a sharp right-footed shot into the corner of the opponent's goal. He then assisted on Lee Dong-soo's header from a corner kick in the ninth minute of the second half, before completing his hat trick with a left-footed finish in the 28th minute. Lim Min-hyuk was involved in three of Busan's four goals on the day.

The match between Cheonan and Busan was also named the best match of the K League 2 Round 6. Eriki gave Cheonan a 1-0 lead in the 13th minute, but Busan's Lim Min-hyuk equalized in first-half stoppage time to even the score. In the second half, Busan's Lee Dong-soo pulled one back in the ninth minute, followed by goals from Lee Han-do in the 21st minute and Lim Min-hyuk in the 28th minute. Cheonan Motta scored a late consolation goal in the 40th minute, but the match ended with a 4-2 victory for Busan.

The best team in the K League 2 Round 6 is Suwon. The Suwon team got goals from Kim Hyun-hyun, Son Seok-yong, Lee Si-young, and others in a 5-1 victory. This was Suwon's first back-to-back wins of the season and their second consecutive round as the best team.
