I am pleased to receive some cash. The highest paper bill. And the second highest paper bill, which is half of the highest paper bill.

And what shall I do with this cash? It's obvious. We gamble it. We gamble it all. That is, the most rational thing one can do with such a small amount of cash.

It turns out that my golden goose, was actually sick, and they died before laying eggs. I have lost something important, only to receive a painful lesson that I'll never ever get to use again, because I have lost the only thing I can use it with.

Supposed that you have a demon in your basement that shits money. However, everytime you take a look at it while it's shitting, you will lose a lot of money. Regardless of how unintentional or accidental it is, the demon will eat all your cash and assets if you peek at it even once. Can you trust that demon? Can you trust it knowing that you'll never know the exact process of how it gets money?

Even if you do decide to be patient and calm, the thoughts will always gnaw at you. "Is it really okay to use cash that came from a demon's ass? How bad will it smell? Maybe they're actually doing something else instead of shitting! But I'll never know unless I look". Then you will begin to lose your sleep. You will find it very hard to distract yourself from the curiosity of watching the demon shit. Until, eventually, you won't be able to hold your curiosity and accident peek at them while they're doing the deed.

So is it worth it? Will you keep that demon? Will you keep that money? What will you do? What's more interesting is that the poorer you are and the more desperate you are, the more likely are you to steal a glance and lose everything because of it.

It's not as easy as you think. And you'll never understand unless you're in that exact situation.

Just a few weeks in and I've already lost the motivation to find j#bs. No organization is hiring unlimited amount of Guides. No one is hiring Life Experience Managers. And there is absolutely no one hiring an Emperor.

Not only that, there's also no powerful secret organization following me and suddenly escorting me into a limousine. What's worse is that even if I walk around at night, there are no vans giving me free candies.

How utterly boring.

Shall I... wander around the far reaches of the net, to the desolate and ancient wastelands that have existed in cyberspace since the beginning of time?

Shall I... play with the darkest tomes and grimoires, screaming the names of those who shall not be named?

I wonder... if I dive in the ocean of deception long enough and deep enough, will I be able to see the truth someday?

The river of time is endless. I ought to stare at the skies more often than amuse myself with the varicolored fishes below. There comes a time in one's life when one can't help but ponder the arrangement of the stars.

We have already explored the surface enough. It's time to dig with our bare hands until our fingers break, to dive deeper until our bodies implode.

Everything for the truth.

We say that but are we really searching for the truth? We deceive ourselves that it is truth that we seek, when in fact, the only thing we ever want is beauty, the thrill and beauty of a well-written story.
