Manager Kim Jong-guk "Prepared firmly with the winning goal"

The KIA Tigers held a coaching staff strategy seminar for the 2024 season at the Gwangju-Kia Champions Field conference room on January 22.

A total of 28 people attended the seminar, including CEO Choi Joon-young, general manager Shim Jae-hak, head coach Kim Jong-kook, first-tier, Futures and Remaining Army coaching staff, training coaches, and front office (team leaders).

The seminar consisted of last season's review of each part, preparation for operation this season, and goal setting. In particular, they also had time to prepare for the new system to be introduced into the KBO league, such as ABS, pitch clock, base size expansion, and no shift.

Choi Joon-young, CEO of KIA, said, "It was a meaningful place where all coaching staff thought and discussed their roles under one goal of winning. We will spare no support for the players to perform at the best by closely collaborating and communicating with the coaching staff and the front office."

Coach Kim Jong-guk said, "I think there was a great achievement in that we shared our thoughts and shared opinions on the direction our team should go. We finished the last season unfortunately, but we will prepare from the spring camp with the goal of winning this season. We are always grateful to the Tigers fans for their great support, and we will try to repay them for their support."
