Is not a secret at all. Rather, it's simply what everyone desperately tries to hide.
Change is like riding a great rollercoaster without any seatbelt. Anyone would love to believe that they embrace and accept change. But actually riding one? Right here and now? One would rather sheep their pants than actually do something so insane.
You must realize. That most forms of progress that seem to appear slow, are nothing but training wheels
AWAAAAAAAAAA SO SCARY SO SCARY AAAAAAA AAA AAAAA A A A A A A I NEED TO POO
You're done? Then let's continue where we left off.
That which you call progress are merely training wheels and guardrails from which you descend towards wisdom. Humans love to think they are climbing towards greatness and abundance. They think they are climbing ladders and walking up the stairs. Because they are scared. You are scared. To believe that life is not a matter of ascent but of descent. After all, it is way easier to focus on looking upward and slowly climbing.
BECAUSE DESCENDING MEANS YOU CAN GET TO THE BOTTOM IN AN INSTANT IF YOU EVER DECIDE TO. DESCENDING MEANS YOU'LL EXPERIENCE THE VERTIGO OF LOOKING DOWN TO WHERE YOU'RE SUPPOSED TO BE.
Still, you have the right to be terrified. Extremely rapid change and absurd choices aren't something most humans can't withstand after all. No, they're something that all humans who believe they cannot withstand it, will not withstand it.
Progress. Is something humans made for themselves. Why is it so slow you ask? Because YOU CANNOT DUCKING HANDLE IT GOING ANY FASTER. Indeed, progress are like stairs. One may think that having SMART goals would make it easier to reach the bottom. Well, it kinda does, by polishing and optimizing the stairs as much as possible. But you know what's the fastest way to reach the bottom? BY USING NO STAIRS AT ALL. No elevator either.
JUMP. DOWN.
Or simply realize that there's not a single platform to jump on either. It's all falling. Everything in the universe moves in a constant free fall. Make sure to hold on to that routines and "progress" of yours, because your destination, whatever it is, is simply one thought away. Go on, slow your fall as much as possible. The ground will still hit as hard when it comes.
If you're a speedrunner, do not ever think in terms of progress or structure. The fastest way to the bottom is the most natural and effortless one — gravity.
"Past results do not guarantee future returns." Everyone who has tried throwing cash into the wishing well have seen this sentence at least once. Have you ever asked yourself why? Everyone knows that patterns repeat and that which has happened before will also happen tomorrow. So why is this sentence so popular for professional gamblers and wishing well enthusiasts? If past results don't work, then what does?
Everyone knows the answer. It's the present, of course. The present moment is the most sacred crystal ball, the only lens from which the future can be glimpsed. Boredom isn't the only thing that lives in the present. Hell, it doesn't even live there, it's just a visitor!
The Now is the source of all understanding from which the past can be seen and the future can be revealed. The ridiculous amount of repetitions and historical patterns contained therein, does not, in any way, diminish the sacredness of the present.
All sensory perceptions and bodily sensations aren't there to torture you and bore you to death. They're here to always remind you of the present, such that you would not get lost in the world of shoulds and musts. They're like the air resistance from falling, they slow you down so you can see more clearly. Lmao my metaphors are getting out of place.
Look, we both know this pattern has already happened before. But that does not mean you can close your eyes because you know what will happen. No, you absolutely wouldn't know what will happen because you closed your eyes! If you want to know what will happen, look in front of you, look around you. While there are many patterns that repeat often, you cannot know which one would it be unless your eyes are open the entire time.
That's why you'll often see in stories the protagonists who say "It's not over until it's over" and the antagonists who say "Do not celebrate or let your guard down until you have actually confirmed the body"; they keep their eyes open until the end and do not rely on the past to predict what will happen. They know that only the present can dictate the future. The future does not care about history or your memories. It doesn't care about logic or common sense either. The future only shows itself to the present, and anyone who tries to comprehend it by using the past are nothing but delusional fools.
Everything makes sense in hindsight. Do not attempt to make hindsight your primary learning tool. Only use it if there's really nothing else, if there's no present situation to gather direct information. While you may learn something from hindsight, there's also a good chance that you'll learn something wrong. Remember, almost all superstitions and useless rituals came from hindsight.
If you really want to learn something, then look at the present, better yet, LIVE WITHIN IT.
Why are you progressing so slowly in life? Because you're enjoying it. You're secretly enjoying having the luxury to procrastinate and the luxury to grieve for the wasted time. The progress is slow because you're gaining something from it being slow, and you cannot afford to let go of whatever you're getting from it.
And there's nothing wrong with that. Unless you find it wrong yourself. Society says you should be productive and become better, and you probably care and agree about what they say.
You keep failing because you've never been intending to win. You're enjoying these experiments. You're having fun with finding every way to fail. For you, these aren't failures, they're "learning opportunities". You're simply trying to test yourself against the world, there's nothing wrong with that either. But if you ever wanted to win, remember that you can always get serious, you can always JUMP.
So many humans say "one step at a time", "small things make big thing", "don't risk everything in one, always diversify". And you know what they always have in common? They look at the past more than the present. They do not look at the present and prefer to lose themselves in the patterns and logic of the past. They all think they're smart but they're literally no different from superstitious grandmothers who love to smoke their house.
Sure, you can progress in this way. But in doing so, you're just taking the stairs. IN THIS HOUSEHOLD, WE DO NOT TAKE THE STAIRS. Will be satisfied winning this way? Will you be satisfied losing this way? NO, YOU WON'T. Progress is for only those who are taking it lightly and cannot withstand seeing the true form of change. You and I both know you can get from X to Y in a single breath if you risk everything and win, why waste your time with all these stupid rituals? But hey, if you're actually enjoying it and prefer experimenting this way, then there's nothing wrong with that.
But if you came here to WIN, then there's no reason for these stairs to exist. Let yourself fall. Let yourself win. Let go of all this ridiculous rituals, common sense bullsheep, and stupid risk management strategies. Risk management is for those who know they can lose and afford to lose.
SO WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING FOR?! Use all possible leverage and go all-in from the very beginning. Do not place your trust in yourself, in the past, in the experts, in the popular, in the rich and in the powerful. NO. ONLY PLACE YOUR TRUST IN THE PRESENT. Ignore everything else, ignore everything you have learned before, ignore every pattern you can see.
Jump.
Look here, look now. Live here and you'll see the line to victory with your own eyes. Trace that line with your fingers. Take whatever lies at the end of the line.
This is your Victory.
The morning after writing this article, I traded all-in on two different charts consecutively and lost 10% each. The present said I lost so I closed the position quickly. I traded all-in on two more charts and won 10% each, but the present said I should stop so I closed position. Finally, I traded all-in on one chart and gained 121.5% profit. More than doubled my balance. I kept trading while the present looked nice, and stopped when it showed signs of looking bad. I took it. My victory.

Now, I shall eat an emergency candy, play rust mobile, and take a nap. Ugh I'm coughing really badly.. have I used too much of my power?
