Fallsview Casino Resort Opens With Billy Joel Show

The grand opening of the new multi-million event center at Fallsview Casino Resort is imminent. Most recently, the casino announced that legendary singer Billy Joel will participate in the grand launch of the 5,000-seat OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino. He is one of the best-selling artists and a member of the Rock and Rock Hall of Fame and will perform in February 2023.

130 million entertainment facilities in the casino will begin operations in three months. Originally scheduled to open in 2020, the casino industry was affected by an unprecedented situation. I still needed finishing work once the casino got back to normal, but now I'm preparing the stage for the Grand Open.

Fourteen years after becoming part of Caesars Windsor's 5,000-seat entertainment center, Billy Joel will now play a big role in the opening of another major Ontario venue. The music icon will be performed at the grand opening of the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino on February 25, 2023. Guests at the event will be able to enjoy some of his best hits.

The president of Niagara Casino, Richard Taylor, said Joel's scheduled performance in February will only improve the entertainment level in Niagara Falls. Ray Pinot of Mohigan Gaming and Entertainment, a casino-serving company, said the operator and the iconic singer's working together had a tremendous relationship.

Mr. Pinot went on to say that the company is now looking forward to performing an old friend on a new stage and all the other attractive shows that will come to the scene. Niagara Falls Mayor Jim Diodati is also delighted with the news. He said Joel's concert will send a global message that the city is back and entertainment is now better than ever.

Currently, the singer is on tour and will start a series of events with Stevie Nicks in the spring. He is a six-time Grammy winner and has sold more than 160 million albums worldwide. It is also worth mentioning that his 1985 collection "Greatest Hits – Volume I & II" is one of the best-selling albums in the United States.

Earlier this year, the Fallsview Casino Resort provided more interesting news for many sponsors. The casino announced that it has received permission from the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario to launch its own online gaming brand. According to the company, the Play Falls View app is a reflection of the casino brand and a digital extension.

The online platform then went online in September, allowing eligible Ontario people to play the game. You can check it at play.playfallsview.com or the App Store. The platform was created in collaboration with industry-leading gaming partners such as Cambi Group, Pala Interactive, and Intelligence. It is overseen by Mohigan Digital, a division of MGE.
