Oneida India Nation Announces Big Expansion of Point Place Casino

The Oneida Indian Nation announced yesterday that the Point Place Casino will be undergoing a massive expansion that will double its gaming floor and add new hotels in the coming months. The expansion came in response to the customers' demand for additional amenities at the Point Place casino, as well as the explosive growth and economic development taking place in central New York.

The game floor of the Point Place Casino will double in size during the expansion, providing more ways for guests to enjoy the joy of the game.

New Hotel

This expansion will include a new multi-story hotel with 100 rooms and 8 luxury suites. Inside the beautiful lobby area, guests will enjoy the perfect poor cafe satellite location, and the large event area will accommodate meetings, celebrations, and other gatherings.

More Meal Options

The new restaurant will offer diners delicious American-style grill-style fare, and a popular dining spot in Madison County will add breakfast service along with traditional lunch and dinner menus.

Re-creation of the Fireside Lounge

An already popular local hotspot, the Fireside Lounge will double in size to expand bar space and create 360-degree views of a wood-burning fireplace. The new cozy seating area will make it an even more attractive place for guests to enjoy special cocktails, craft beers, or wine around a glowing fire.

The Oneida Indian Nation has been anticipating the need for this expansion project for some time, with the popularity of Point Place casinos quickly outpacing existing spaces. Since the casino was founded in 2018, overnight queues of excited guests eager to be the first to enter have prompted visitors to ask for accommodation, additional dining options, and options for games to accommodate their weekend trip.

News of the expansion was first shared yesterday by Oneida Indian Nation CEO and Turning Stone Enterprise CEO Ray Halbritter with a select group of Point Place Casino team members. In addition to investing in the capital project of Point Place Casino, the expansion is also an investment in Nation's workforce, one of the largest in the region. Construction related to the expansion is estimated to create 250 construction and permanent full- and part-time jobs.
