Kim Dong Ryang, who worked diligently, looked back on his prime

No. 11 draft pick in 2011
Personally, I thought I would go to the first round. All players will. I was very anxious and nervous from the 7th place because the nomination ranking was delayed. I felt calm because I couldn't be selected in the first round. Honestly, my pride was hurt because I was pushed back in the draft. On the other hand, I thought I would go professional and do well and get a good evaluation. That's what I thought first.
You can think that if you go to a team that lacks even a little bit of your position, you will have time to play. Now that I have been a professional, players (in the past) are always ready in any club. I have that thought because I had the spirit when I was a rookie. In my fourth year of college, I played the play and basketball that I wanted to play, then I went back to being the youngest (in the professional league) and started anew. After coming to the professional league, I learned new basketball.

When I was in college, I only focused on the outside
These days, players from No. 1 (point guard) to No. 5 (center) cannot survive without shooting power. At that time, the positions were divided (divided). If you go back to (college days) and practice a lot (three-point shots), you will have more roles to play. You can also shoot three-point shots and grow into an all-around player. Lim Dong-seop, who is similar to me in height, is also tall, so he is ahead. He is still amazing. Since I have worked as a player, I have to cut myself from an early age. It is not easy to change my style when I get older and have a solid style. Shin Seung-min is not tall in college, but due to team circumstances, he saw the big man. He saw rapid growth as a third (small forward) this season. During the off-season, the coach and the coach had tremendous and harsh training, and he overcame it. As a result, it became better to grow well this season and evaluate him coolly. It looks good.

When we were at Hyundai Mobis, Ham Jihoon was a wall
Ham Ji-hoon returned from military service in the fifth round (2011-2012 season). At that time, I received many opportunities that I could not receive in my first year. As Ji-hoon came, we were in the same position, so we always worked out together. I was so influenced by him. I learned a lot from him by bumping into him. It's hard to explain one by one, but Ji-hoon has his know-how and style. I'm not trying to copy it, and I can't. I felt it while looking at Ji-hoon's location selection, passes, and vision.

During the 2019~2020 season of LG
"Debut season was an honor, and I made the best personal record when I moved to LG during my career, receiving the most love and popularity." He gave me so much love that I still can't forget it and cherish it as a good memory. Through director Hyun Joo-yeop, I appeared on the show (the owner is donkey ears). LG's interest in and recognition has increased. I heard that Lee Kwan-hee is very popular after she appeared in "Hell of Solo 3," and I'm confident that she would be popular back then, too (laughs). Other teams also recognized this song, and it was even more popular because she was a bachelor (laughs).

Transfer to Korea Gas Corporation
Personally, he is not a player who scores many points or plays splendidly. He worked hard to change the atmosphere by going in when he was tired or the game was not going well because he was the fourth key player (power forward), kept the balance in the defense that the coach and coach wanted, and talked to the players a lot from behind. I'm not sure if I did well (laughs).
What I felt a lot about coming to Korea Gas Corporation this season is that other teams also have their own culture and atmosphere, and I can feel the stickiness. It's a culture created by the players who had been there before, and young players might feel uncomfortable, but I was really surprised that they had a close relationship like family. The coach and the coach try to communicate a lot. I overcame it in this atmosphere even when it was too hard at the beginning of the season. This atmosphere was maintained even when the performance improved, and I think the players on the bench all felt the same, so I think it was on the rise. I cheered the same way, played hard, and got drunk on the atmosphere. That was good.

It's more memorable than winning No. 3 in the debut season and the LG days
"I remember how many times I played in the game. The season that I played in a lot of times comes to me in a special way as well. I got an incredible achievement by winning the title at Hyundai Mobis several times. As time goes by, I think this is a big achievement. (Choose between the winning team and the team that can play more?) Winning the title is best for a team that plays more often (laughs). There is nothing better than that.

What advice do you want to give to younger players
I have basic skills just by joining the professional program, and I think it has been verified and verified. It depends on whether you make consistent efforts in a professional league. I have not played splendidly, but I have continued to work out silently, sincerely, and consistently by myself. I received many opportunities in the first or second year of my debut, but my best season was when I was at LG. I think I was 32 years old at that time. I was a middle-aged, not a few players. As I endured it, I performed the best at that age and received the most love.
Even players who are not given a chance are prepared silently, and they will definitely have an opportunity. You should always be more prepared than complaining and thinking, "Why aren't you letting me join?" Now that I have played as a pro athlete, I think that was a reason. In a way, what I see on camera are the five players playing on the court. I know how hard the rest of the players work. I was like that, too. You might not be able to see the light right away, or you don't know when, so if you hang in there and prepare well, you will have a chance, so you will be able to seize the opportunity well.

BONUS ONE SHOT
Director Kang Hyuk looks back on Kim Dong Ryang
After giving up Park Chan-ho and Lee Yoon-ki to Suwon KT and recruiting Kim Dong-ryang, Korea Gas Corporation manager Kang Hyuk said, "Lee Dae-heon couldn't run for 40 minutes, so we needed backup. Shin Seung-min decided to upload it as No. 3 (small forward).
