I would like to build a large house or a mansion where anyone, any stranger can freely enter and leave. The maids of the house happily greets and serves all the people who come regardless of their identity. They will be served free foods and drinks while they happily interact with other strangers within the house.
This house will be the pinnacle of inclusivity and acceptance, where everyone can happily chill and interact with other people, giving rise to countless friendships and connections. This will be one of tRanChor's ideal infrastructures and facilities.
Surely the main concern of the readers is that regardless of how big the house is, it won't be able to cater, serve, and manage every guest that comes inside. That is true, everyone likes free things, especially if they're beautiful. If there's no limits on the amount of guests that can come, that house would be a massively crowded and chaotic hellhole.
Therefore, to address this problem, we decided to add limitations on the amount of guests that can arrive within a particular hour. Plus we are planning to make an appointment system where the guests has to make an appointment first before they try to visit and they can only visit during their hours of appointment. That's right, this is not a hotel house, there is a time limit on how long can one stay. Furthermore, one can only make an appointment once a month and if they miss their appointment, they have to wait for the next month again.
There will be a lot of rooms in this house and most of them will be freely accessible to all visitors. The first room is the reception room in front of the entrance where the guests can make their appointments. They can also make online appointments on the website. The second room is the main hall with many tables, chairs, and benches where the guests can interact with one another. Then the third room is the gaming room where people can play board games with one another. The fourth room is a library room where people can read books together. The fifth room is a public hotspring divided into two, for men and for women.
One of my favorite rooms is the sixth room, which is a public teaching room where anyone can teach and share practical knowledge they want. Anyone can go there to either teach something or listen to others. However, if their teaching or presentation doesn't end within 1 minutes, the audience can raise their hands and do a majority vote to skip the current presenter, thereby immediately proceeding to the next. This serves to eliminate low-quality teachings and presentations.
It is important that the person who raise their hands first to skip the current presenter give a constructive criticism of why he wants to skip the current presentation. If he fails to give a proper explanation, his vote will not be counted. If they do this three times, they would be banned from voting. Those presenters that gets skipped in the first minute can try again next week. But if they were to get skipped in the first minute for three times, they will be banned from presenting.
If the presenters were allowed by the audience to continue, the next skip voting will take place in two minutes, then another two minutes, then in the next five minutes, then in every ten minutes. Good teachers and presenters can teach up to one hour as long as most of the audience allows it. Those who are able to teach above 15 minutes without being skipped will be given a certificate and additional privileges.
Keep in mind that there's always a supervisor in this sixth room that can always veto a majority vote if it seems like cheating. This supervisor can also immediately skip any troll or fake presentations without needing any majority vote. In any actions of the supervisor, the people concerned can file a formal appeal that questions the supervisor's actions which will be addressed by the higher ups and depending on the result, the supervisor can get fired or those who appealed can lose their voting rights.
This is the last room, also called the management room that is restricted to all guests. It is only for the employees and management where they have regular meetings and want to relax during their break without having to serve any guests. Only those who have their id and fingerprint scan can enter this room.
The seventh room also include rooftop with swimming pool and cafeteria, where the employees can chill under the sunlight and fresh air. Necessarily amenities are also given exclusively to the seventh room, such as private restrooms and stuff. This is important so the employees can relax and stay motivated after serving all the guests.
There are some free meals and coffee in the main hall and snacks in the gaming room. The restrooms are found just beside the hotspring room. Bringing food and snacks isn't allowed in the library.
Visitors and guests where their time of stay already ended which is two hours, their pin will glow bright red and if they don't want to leave, they will be escorted outside. If they want to increase their stay, they can either apply to become volunteers who will serve other guests or they can become great teachers in the teaching room. If they are able to give a good presentation, they will earn a privilege to extend their stay with an extra hour and be allowed to get an appointment to the Guest House every week.
We don't want this Guest House to become only a place for the elite, so no one is allowed to extend their stay through their money. However, if they are really desperate, then we can understand their desperation by allowing them to extend their stay for an hour by paying $1000 in cash. This extremely ridiculous price means no one is expected to pay except the rich and desperate ones.
The staffs will be composed of maids, chefs, hosts, guards, researchers, and cleaners. There will be strict rules on etiquette and anyone who break them for the second time after being given a warning will be immediately escorted outside.
What makes this place particularly great is that it can become a great source of research for psychologists and sociologists who want to observe human behavior in various social situations. They will learn what type of people does this and that and what type of people doesn't do this and that. The main hall also includes various party games where the researchers can make an experiment and disguise it as a fun party game.
At random times, for two hours a day, the researchers can activate the hidden microphone in the guests entry pins and examine their conversations and interactions with other people. They can cross-examine this information with people's background information that they give during their appointment application, allowing them to give a thorough analysis on conversation styles.
Of course, the guests will be informed of this as part of the terms and conditions and privacy policy. It's not like they'll be reading the terms and conditions and would just immediately check it without even looking. Furthermore, they don't have a choice because this infrastructure and its facilities that they enjoy are free. Plus it's not like they'll be constantly monitored, as the researchers will only record on a random time at two hours per day. So if they're unlucky enough to be part of this two hours, their conversations would be recorded.
They may rest assured that all research findings and results will be used for the sake of science and the improvement of humanity as a whole.
