Everything written here is fictional.
I've abandoned my family and left home. I left the old cave and explored the world. Yet outside here, there seems to be nothing but an endless winter, with continuous blizzards and snow everywhere. This gives me deja vu. It reminds me of what happened before, it was also like this, where I was desperately searching for warmth in an endless winter. Indeed, I'm back to square one.
How did I end up like this? It's because I left everything else for the sake of freedom, the freedom to explore the world. Yet they were my world, since I left them, how can I have any more world to explore? Ah I wanna go back, remain comfy in the fireplace with my wife and kids. But I cannot turn back anymore. I have reached the point of no return. I chose freedom and I have prepared to die with my choice.
Should I, once again, find a place and family to stay, keep myself warm? No, I cannot do that again. I'm tired of that. I would rather make myself warm by exploring the land within this winter, by moving from place to place. Staying in one place is simply too much work me, if I have to stay in a great paradise for the rest of my life, I would consider that as a prison and try to escape from it after a few months. I will not confine myself again.
The only companion I need are the sun and moon who bears witness to my travels. I talk with them whenever I need while they listen patiently to my stories. Even the stars of the night supports me on my journey that doesn't seem to have any destination. I need no place to stay, the earth itself is my home.
And so I kept going. I moved forward despite this eternal winter, building unique-looking snowmen everytime I take a break. It's still cold, so cold that I can feel my blood freezing. Remembering the memories of my home makes me feel even colder. I wonder if they're doing okay. No, I have no time for these thoughts, I'll have to keep going, even if I don't really know where I'm supposed to go.
...
Ah it's getting dark. I'm tired. In the end, I have found no place to stay this time. Regardless, it's time for me to sleep. I don't know the time, so who knows when I'll wake up. To spend my freedom in this way, I don't regret it. It was fun. There were a lot of snow, snowflakes, and ice. I've built a lot of snowmen along the way. My children... my wife... I missed you.
Thanks for trying to give me warmth, sun. Oh moon, I ask of you, give me the best kind of sleep this time. Let me spend the rest of my life in a happy dream.
I'm finally... free...
