Possible names:
To make the world as fun and interesting as possible in the most dramatic and sustainable ways.
No one expects commitment from 1 chained and 2 chained droll, but the 3 chained clowns and above who hunted them are responsible for guiding them, giving them tasks, teaching them, and encouraging them to do chaotic things for the world. 1 chained drolls get promoted when they help their hunter complete 12 tasks in the same month or 36 tasks in total. A 3 chained clown who guided two 1 chained drolls until they get promoted, and demonstrates a moderate understanding of chaos arts by completing a higher level task will be promoted to become a 4 chained clown, in which they can continue guiding their disciples.
4 chained clowns are responsible for guiding and teaching 2 chained drolls until they get promoted. At this stage, they need to teach the 2C drolls the core principles, values, and basic techniques of the organization. For 2C drolls to be promoted, they need to be active and consistent for three months, ignoring only a maximum of one task per month. Afterwards, they need to pass a test by completing an official task on their own without any physical help from their hunter. The chaos tasks for these tests are designed to evaluate their capacity for chaos, freedom, and loyalty. Those who pass the test will graduate to become 3C clowns with access to regular meetings at the headquarters. 4C clowns who guided three 2C drolls until they graduate while demonstrating a high understanding of chaos arts by completing a maximum level task, and have perfectly memorized the Book of Conduct will be promoted to 5C jesters. Only 6C jokers and the founder can promote 4C clowns to 5C jesters if they see them qualified.
5C jesters are held responsible for overseeing the activities and promotions of 4C clowns and below. They are the ones who create promotion tests, uphold the rules of the organization, and administer redemptions and atonements to those who fail to complete their responsibilities. They ensure that the organization remains a secret and the security isn't jeopardized. Furthermore, they schedule regular meetings and speak on them. If the 3C and 4C clowns are the limbs of the organization, then the 5C jesters are the backbone of the organization that deals with most of the affairs inside the organization. Aside from working in the headquarters, they can also start their own local branch somewhere in the country. They will be promoted to the highest ranking member, 6-chained Jokers, once they have performed their duties as a 5C Jester for 7 months, successfully promoted four qualified 3C clowns to become 4C clowns, and demonstrated a perfect understanding of chaos arts by completing at least 12 maximum level tasks. Only the Founder can promote 5C jesters to become 6-chained Jokers once they have passed all the qualifications. Nevertheless, anyone can object to being promoted to a higher member or delay their promotion if they don't want to.
6-chained Jokers, also called Sexy Jokers, are the masters of chaos arts so they receive the highest privileges possible. They are not bound to a single place. The only responsibilities they have, is to respond to emergency summons, oversee the promotion of 4C clowns to 5C jesters, which happens very rarely, to offer redemptions and atonements to 5C jesters who defaulted on their responsibilities, as well as to spread fun and sustainable chaos everywhere they go. With their sheer power and control over chaos, it will be easy as cake for them to create many local or international branches. The Founder himself personally teaches the 6C Jokers with knowledge that would be incomprehensible to 5C jesters and below. The Founder promises them unlimited support, so they are free to do whatever they want as long as it follows the vision and values of the organization. If the 5C jesters are like kings, then 6C Jokers are akin to demigods. Although they wear the most chains, they are the most unchained and powerful in the organization, except for the Founder of course, who is the heaven above the heavens.
What about the responsibilities of the Founder, you ask? There is no more absurd question in the universe than that question. It is like a mortal trying to ask a god about their responsibilities. Adorable, sure, but nonetheless ridiculous. For who can comprehend what goes in the mind of the Founder? Who have ever seen the Founder? Legends say that only the first members and the 6-chained Jokers have ever seen them in person. Even these Jokers kneel before their presence, without daring to see their face. Just like what they have always done, the Founder will simply do whatever they want. For them, this secret organization is but a mere hobby to pass time and rid themselves of boredom.
3C and 4C Clowns are responsible for the 1C and 2C drolls, so if their disciples are inactive or make any terrible mistakes, they will be the one who needs to redeem themselves. If they choose redemption, then they'll need to complete additional tasks without any rewards like cleaning the headquarters, doing higher level chaos tasks, or being a servant of jesters and jokers for a while. However, if they refuse to do any redemptions, then according to the terms and conditions they accepted before being promoted to 3C clowns, they will be forced to experience atonements against their will such as forced hypnosis, memory loss, exile, and many others. In the end, this is a secret organization, so betrayals will not be tolerated. To properly guard secrets, some must be forcefully silenced. This will only happen if they don't choose the path of redemption. It is ultimately their choice.
The higher the rank is, the more difficult the redemptions become and the more terrible the atonements are. Thus, every time a member is about to be promoted, the designated promotion officer is always required to inform them of their responsibilities, plus the redemptions and atonements they are required to do if they defaulted in doing their assigned responsibilities. Only if they agree to this by signing with their blood, can they be promoted. However, they can always disagree or delay their promotion for as long as they want without repercussions. The hunters of 1C and 2C drolls reserve the right to expel their hunted 1C and 2C drolls anytime without requiring permissions from the higher ups. They are not official members so they don't have to do any redemptions or atonements either, they can simply be expelled from the organization easily. However, those who expel them too much and too often will be investigated and judged by the organization.
5C Jesters and 6C Jokers are relatively free in a sense that most members in the organization trusts them so they can break some minor rules as long as they're not caught. However, if 5C Jesters broke a major rule or defaulted on their responsibilities, an emergency meeting will be summoned to determine their fate and give them a choice whether they will choose to redeem themselves or not. Emergency meetings are not always required for this scenario, a single 6C joker is enough to judge their fate. However, in the unfortunate scenario where a 6C Joker betrayed the organization, then a special emergency meeting will be summoned and the remaining 6C jokers will discuss among themselves about what redemptions and atonements they should give to their erring brother. It is possible that the aforementioned 6C Joker may be required to do both redemptions and atonements at once, if that's what the council has decided on. In rare moments where the Founder intervenes, then the Founder's decision is final regardless of the council's decision. Nevertheless, this is extremely rare as the Founder usually does not intervene in the affairs of the organization except in its early days.
Unlike the redemptions of 3C and 4C clowns, the redemptions of 5C Jesters and 6C jokers are so much more creative and difficult. But if they were able to successfully to them, then they will be forgiven and allowed to return to their duties, though it does not guarantee that they will be treated the same as before. As for the atonements, they usually remain consistent across all members except for some special cases.
