Tottenham Hotspur 'Captain' Son Heung-min continued his strong performance against Crystal Palace.
Son Heung-min started the game against Palace in the 27th round of the 2023-2024 English Premier League (EPL) at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, England at 0:00 a.m. on the 3rd and led his team to victory with one goal in 90 minutes.
Tottenham conceded the first goal in the 14th minute of the second half. Eberechi Eze scored a free kick while attempting to dribble through the Tottenham penalty box. Eze attempted a sharp direct free kick aimed at the far post, and the ball hit the corner of the goal with a beautiful trajectory.

Especially in this season when Harry Kane left the team, he is playing with an armband while serving as captain. Tottenham fans are also cheering and applauding Son Heung-min's performance.
Son has been leading Tottenham's attacks with 14 points and six assists in 23 matches. With Son at the forefront, Tottenham is competing to advance to the UEFA Champions League. It is closely trailing Aston Villa in fourth place with a five-point gap. Tottenham still has one more match to play.
Manager Anze Postecoglou expressed satisfaction with Son's outstanding performance. "Luckily, I was able to join good strikers. Son is an elite player in every way," Postecoglou said. "I already knew that Son was a good player, but what I felt every day when I was with him is that he is a great person who sets an example as well as a human being."
Son will also continue his fond memories against Palace. Son scored his English Premier League debut goal in a match against Palace in the 2015-2016 season, and his first goal in the English Premier League in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the 2018-2019 season.
It is the second consecutive goal of the league against Palace in this season alone. Son scored the finishing goal in a 10th round match against Palace in October last year, and has become the Palace killer. Son is nicknamed the " beekeeper" because he is strong against a team that originally wears yellow uniforms.
