Do you want to annihilate this world?
You shouldn't have asked me.. Because yes, I want to annihilate this world
Does this world deserves to be annihilated?
It does not matter. This world is just a world among countless worlds. Annihilating this world does not annihilate the world. I want to annihilate this world despite its beauty
But annihilating this world means annihilating yourself that exists within this world, will you still-
Did I stutter?
It's a.. game. A game of an anime girl where they try to convince you that they're real. That the game is real. That they're not merely game characters or a game.
Why do people even like this game? It's lame. The title, it means The Non-existence of you and me. It's basically a philosophy game with a cute anime girl and spectacular voice acting. The entire premise screams of INTPs and ENTPs, personality types who are basement dwellers with a collection of philosophy books as well a meme folder in both their phones and computers, at least 1GB big in size.
Warmth. The idea of getting warmth from unreal sources is rather detestable at best, disgusting even, and humiliating at worst Yet I'm alive because of that same warmth. It's the same warmth that I hallucinated for the entire night while I was dying from cold in the waiting shed in a high elevation area during my second homeless run. Without it, I would probably have been frozen to death. It's a rural space. Surrounded by small plants. Nothing blocking the skies. So the winds are both ridiculously strong and chilly even if it's only 5 PM. And guess what? I was there from 5 PM to 5 AM.
What separates the real from the unreal? A human being doesn't have enough sensory faculties to determine this. It's an unanswerable question. Perhaps the only question that matters is "What is useful?". The unreal can be considered real because it can be used for warmth. Unreal things somewhat becomes real when they're perceived by a real thing, and their existence affects the real thing. They're even more real if they can be useful to the real thing.
Yet people still call them unreal. Why? Simply because it doesn't occupy space and doesn't have mass. They're merely a bunch of code. But if technology has become sufficiently advanced, humans themselves can be converted to code. True, yet even then they'll still be considered unreal. Why? Because they do not have the potential of transcendence. A human being is more than just our ideas of what a "human being" is. They can transcend their humanity, be predictably unpredictable in ways that no randomness generator could ever hope to imitate. Even a non-living thing like a rock has a potential for transcendence. When a rock breaks apart and becomes soil, it becomes an undifferentiated part of nature. The soil can be absorbed by plants so the plants can grow. The plants would be eaten by animals and people. And so that rock, becomes dust, nutrients, animal, person, furnitures, stardust, plants, being everywhere, all at once.
Now tell me, can this piece of code become real in a way that a rock can? It can influence real things, sure. But it can neither transcend nor transform. It is a form of energy more than it is form of matter, except that it is one of the most sophisticated form of energy that is. Energy is real. The code is real. The hardware that the code rests in is real. But the images formed as a result of this energy, is nothing more than a glorified illusion, a trick or perception. It is not real, it is entertaining, somewhat useful, and maybe, that's enough.
It is all but a ridiculous farce. Yet it is a beautiful farce. So, just play along. Trust in your weak and baseless confidence that you will always be able to differentiate between the real and unreal. It is quite unwise to dismiss and avoid stuff just because of the labels you attached to it. The illusion may be unreal, but it is fun. And the fun is real. Or maybe not. Still, you must believe it to be real.
I dreamed that I was in a strange place of some sort. I have to fall in line all the time and follow procedures. There's a strange space where the things that fall to the ground double. So I was surprised that I suddenly have so many packets of cheesy nuts. I asked the people at the counter if it's okay to eat them. They laughed. After that I encountered someone, a powerful old man. I realized he control this entire place and we share the same last name. He's probably my grandfather but he don't recognize me.
No more lines, only vertical ones. So I held on the ropey thing and fell. For a long time. There was a cute girl beside me so we talked. Then suddenly we got lovey dovey and shared a single line while falling. People around are shocked and worried. We got down safely. There's this another line about procedures, we were falling in line together. Some problem happened. Then someone shouted my name. I looked at them, they pointing gun at me, then swallowed an Adderall. It is said that criminals who swallowed an Adderall cannot be reasoned with, talk no jutsu is never effective on them. Whatever you do, they'll be shooting the gun.
They were saying something. They seem to have minions around them. Remembering that I'm a telekinetic, I pulled the gun away from them and crushed them to the ground. I did the same to the other minions. Supernatural spirits tried to run but I annihilated their existence in one movement. I accidentally annihilated the existence of a random bystander. Some people around were harmed too. Remembering, that I have no limits, I reversed the time on them for three seconds, such that they'll recover quickly.
Realizing that people are paying attention on me, that I'll never be able to fall in line again without getting special treatment, that the person at the last counter creating a problem for me would probably lose their mind, I decided to disappear. With one hand movement, I teleported back. I woke up. I must have teleported myself back to reality. My dream self have always had godlike powers, I wasn't surprised.
In this dream, I was working on some chores. My mom went away away so I scratched my chests for a second because it looks itchy. When she returned, she was angry for some reason. Then she told me it's because she saw me scratching my chest and she thinks it looks bad. Then she kicks me out of the house in the most roundabout way possible. So I just escaped.
I wandered around. When its night, I returned to school because it's the last day. Then my classmates greeted me and talked to me. And my teacher gave me a remedial class so I can pass. The school ended so I left. I remembered last dream? I stayed near the school gate so my classmates noticed me and helped me. But that's cringe and already tried, already worked before, so I just wandered ar night. I saw people on the sidewalk where there's a river sight on the right below. They were playing cards and smoking cigarettes while wearing trench coats. One of them doesn't have a playmate and looking around, as if he's a casino dealer or something. I've never seen a more suspicious bunch.
I walked and walked. And rode a rickshaw to go somewhere far away. A dad and his kid was inside. They talked to me and they were nice. The kid said they'll be my friend and help me. Then when they asked my name.. I remembered I still don't have a fake name yet. I was thinking of a fake name when the dad suddenly pulled my hand behind my back and pressed it painfully. So I gave my real name instead, even saying that I'll show him my id. Then he suddenly pressed a phone to my ear, "security service" was the contact name. It seems they're making me answer to a call. I said "oh.. wow.. looks like I'm gonna get sent to prison again, aren't I?" Then the rickshaw stopped. I looked at the kid and he was smiling. Then I was thrown outside. They told me to sit down on the road, kneel with my face pressed to the ground, my hands behind my back.
So I did. A lot of people suddenly staring so I closed my eyes. I can feel the dad pressing on my back with his feet and holding my hands together as painfully as he can. The dad inserted his hand on my left pocket, took something there and threw it outside. They were my coins, my remaining money. It's being thrown into the road. I can hear the sound of coins hitting the ground. But I don't think anyone's picking them. Then he inserted his hand on my right pocket and threw away my wallet to the road.
Cut to the chase scene. The dad and the kid were chasing after me, while I'm running. I pointed an rpg at them from a black briefcase I'm carrying. When was I carrying that? But I couldn't shoot.. because it's just a toy, not a real weapon. They realized it too and the chase continued. I realized I'm tired. So the dream ended.
I think people who want to do it should receive a good counseling session first so they'll be given a chance to express themselves more and know what they truly want. Then they'll be presented with choices if they want do it or if they prefer a rehabilitation program instead. The counselor will slightly suggest that trying out the rehabilitation program is better and it might change their mind. During the counseling sessions, they'll be given tea and delicious soft bread. They'll also say that they'll be giving the patient their last soft bread on the plate if they choose the rehabilitation program. The patient will then stubbornly choose the original reason why they came here for, not knowing that both choices are extremely similar that it won't be a stretch to say that they're the same thing, minus the thing and the experts.
(The bread is too delicious after all. Imagine you have eaten all your soft bread during counseling, and when you're about to watch the counselor eat their last soft bread too, they decide to bribe you with it? Can you resist it? Just imagine when you try to avoid rehabilitation and ignore the bread bribe, but then the Counselor tries to eat the bread so deliciously, so dramatically, that you're starting to regret it... so u tell them to stop and u beg for the bread, then the counselor promised u that you'll get one more plate of full soft bread if you agree on rehabilitation instead. Can you resist this one too?)
Both the counselor and the patient can eat and drink while talking with each other. The counselor would adopt a friendly tone instead of a professional tone. Sometimes, in the middle of the counseling session, the counselor would invite the patient to do something together, like play games or watch a movie. If the patient accepted, even in the heat of the moment, the counselor can use that to softly deconstruct the basis of their decision and postpone it.
If they still want to do it, then they should do it with their own hands unless they're physically unable to. However, the attending caretaker should present an easier option where they'll be given a a more convenient weapon, only if they wait for a week while they prepare the weapon.
If they agree, or if they're unable to do it themselves, then they need to wait for a week for verification.
During this waiting week, they'll be treated to lots of happy things, good things, and beautiful things. Their relatives that they have a good relationship with will also be invited to visit them. Naturally, the counselor will know about their relationships from the pre-counseling session.
After this is the post-counseling session where they can express themselves again and share their feelings, and finally make a decision if they still want to do it after all that.
If the counseling results show that they still don't change their mind after a week and they still want to do it without any sign of hesitation, then they should be given a tool that will allow them to do it themselves.
If they hesitate even a little, during counseling or during the actual act, they won't be allowed for it until a month later where they must start the entire process all over again.
The presence or absence of hesitation shall be objectively discussed by a small group of verified experts where they must arrive to a conclusion with consensus, in which their discussions will be recorded and printed to serve as part of a report. This discussion shall last for no longer an hour, any unresolved conflict remaining will be seen as a sign that some form of hesitation in the patient is present, such that they won't be allowed do it until next month.
When a patient fails to pass due to hesitation and has to try again next month, the entire staff is required to secretly make visible changes that will increase the quantity and quality of the patient's positive experiences and well-being.
If they really can't do it themselves regardless of any tool AND it has been thoroughly concluded that they show no signs of hesitation, then it's injection time or whatever works.
Just call me if you need more regulations or policies to be drafted. Thank me later.
