Children explore their neighbourhoods through: • Tree walks 🌳 • Bird walks 🐦 • Waste walks ♻️ • Mapping local spaces 🗺️
The journey ends with each participant creating a short documentary film about their neighbourhood—told in their own voice, from their own lens.
Learning Outcome: Exploring and connecting with nature
With our youngest explorers, we dive into the nearby natural world through: • Wonder walks 🍂 • Microscopes & magnifying glasses 🔍 • Nature colour-making 🎨 • Sensory discovery play 🌾
The program concludes with children co-creating a Nature History Museum, filled with stories and treasures from their surroundings.
