Hard Rock Atlantic City team members receive bonuses of more than $10 million

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City, which continues its legacy of paying bonuses to team members, was elated at the news that thousands of unionized and non-unionized workers would receive bonuses of more than $10 million. The bonus was announced at a "town hall" gathering earlier this week, with several team members also receiving $100,000 in cash and prize money.

The announcement comes on the heels of news that Hard Rock has once again been recognized as one of Forbes' top large employers for the seventh year in a row. Hard Rock International's commitment to team members includes an announcement that it will invest $100 million to drastically raise salaries for its U.S. workforce in 2022, with higher wages having a huge impact on 95 jobs, including jobs in Atlantic City.

In announcing bonuses and awarding awards, Jim Allen, chairman of Hard Rock International, participated along with Hard Rock Atlantic City partners Jack Morris, Joe Jingoli Jr., and Michael Jingoli, as well as George Goldhoff, who was appointed as the new president of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City. Together, they unveiled a combination of capital improvements designed to create a greater guest experience at Hard Rock.

The capital improvement is part of the 5th anniversary celebration of Hard Rock, which will provide the largest entertainment lineup in the 5-year history of Hard Rock through more than $30 million in entertainment investments to attract global talent for performances at Hard Rock Live at Etes Arena, the top entertainment venue in the market.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Atlantic City announced 2023 performances by Sting, Keith Urban, Janet Jackson, Pitbull and Tina Fey and Amy Poerer, Anita Baker, and Jack Brown Band. Jim Allen and George Goldhoff promised more top talent entertainment announcements over the coming weeks and months.

However, the main focus of the town hall event was to announce the $10 million bonus and thank the Hard Rock Atlantic City team members for customer service and the casino resort's success. Some frontline team members received cash and up to $20,000 in prize money as compensation for their hard work and actual results.

"The commitment of Hard Rock Atlantic City team members to customer satisfaction is unmatched in this market, which is the biggest reason for our success story here in Atlantic City," said Jim Allen, president of Hard Rock International. "We recognize and appreciate the dedication and enthusiasm of our team members, and we want to encourage them to continue to do great things."

Additional town hall highlights included a hard rock brand update highlighting the national and global hotel, casino and restaurant portfolio, along with a focus on hard rock's commitment to Atlantic City and community efforts here.

"The amazing talent base of our team members along with our great service is something to witness since arriving in Atlantic City," said George Goldhoff, president of Hard Rock Atlantic City. "I'm excited to start this next chapter with a team that has already had great success. Our team members truly embody the motto 'Love All – Serve All' and support our efforts to make a difference in the community."
