I just had a really scary dream that it's almost a nightmare. Actually it's probably already a nightmare, it's just that I didn't get scared enough to call it one.
I found myself inside a large gigantic church among the followers of "BALAK", which I have no idea who he is, but for some reason, I'm clinging to the belief that whoever that person is, they would give us lots of good things.
The procedure is just simple — just watch the ceremony to its fullest and stay until the end.
There are so many people inside the church, it's so large of a crowd that I believe there are over ten thousands of us. There's a group of classmates I know that invited me there.
One by one, some group of people wearing the same outfit made a parade on the red carpet until they reach the stage. Then they said something I can't comprehend and everyone cheered.
Suddenly, all the people started singing in some unknown cryptic language, I was made to believe that they're just singing some happy tune when they're actually singing something weird.
I'm getting tired and bored hearing everyone sing, they have all closed their eyes so I closed my eyes as well. Then for some reason, I started singing that cryptic song as well just like the crowd. It didn't take long before they started dancing weird as well, which I also did while my eyes are closed.
I feel like my head is spinning and my existence is being completely merged with the crowd. A random person walked on the red carpet and everyone suddenly intensified their singing and dancing. That random person looks like some politician shaking the singing people's hands and speaking to then along the way.
I saw a bunch of numbers, which stopped until the number "20", which is my age. I can see a cake candle of number 20 being the smallest candle of all, and everyone seems to be looking at me.
Everything suddenly started to get weird. The moves of the dance became extravagant and dramatic, and I was following all of them for some reason while my eyes are still closed. My head is still spinning and I can feel as if some people are laughing at my dancing and singing.
The laughter intensified until I felt the moment as if everyone stopped dancing and singing, and I'm actually the only one left doing it. I forced myself to open my eyes inside the dream and see that it's not the case. I got tired and closed my eyes again then the same feelings intensified and their laughter got creepy.
With my mind and consciousness slowly fading away, I understood that everything here is just an illusion and I'm probably just dreaming. I remember having the impactful thought of "It's all a lie! It doesn't matter if I dance, sing, of not, I have to get out of here. I'm not going to do what they want!"
Then suddenly I woke up, facing the right side of my bed, but I can't seem to move. I don't know if I'm just too sleepy or tired, but I can't move. I closed my eyes and I'm instantly returned to my wretched dream again.
Now that I know for sure that I'm dreaming, I deliberately tried to escape and wake up. Everytime I try to wake up, I get teleported to another dreamscape. One dream was that I'm in our original house at night and all my senses are getting blurry, as if reality is disappearing, as if I'm some kind of drugs though I never tried drugs before.
I went outside the house and my body feels extremely tired to walk under the shifting reality, but I forced my way through. "I want to wake up!", Is the only thought rampaging within my mind.
Suddenly the reality in my dream completely collapsed and I found myself floating helplessly in a completely different dimension — the exact dimension between dreams and reality, where everything is white and blurry. I can barely ducking move in there. I forced to wake up myself more and found myself in my bed, surrounded by white walls.
I thought I'm already awake but something feels off. It's as if my perspective is completely shifted and distorted. I try getting out of the bed but it seems I'm just getting close to falling on the bed. Then I thought to myself "No! I'm not going to fall for this trick and fall on the bed again! I'm getting out of here!"
Suddenly I found myself again on the same bed, as if I'm now completely awake. I tried getting up and managed to get up, but then I suddenly realized that I'm not walking on the floor, but I'm walking and standing on the walls!! For some reason, I felt that someone is about to get me and they're getting closer.
I tried waking up over and over and over again, until I can no longer how many dreams has it been. I feel so trapped, but I never stopped forcing myself to wake up.
Now I'm totally awake, writing out my dreams in this article. I don't know if I'm still just sleepy but if feels like this reality is somehow part of a dream as well.
What a weird ducking dream. I wonder what would happened to me if I never decided to wake up and just closed my eyes, still dancing weirdly in some random cult. I wonder what would happen if I waited for the inter-dimensional being who came to get me in my dreams.
My head still feels spinning a little, but I'm okay now. I'll start doing some chores, hoping that this isn't a dream.
"Bloody hell this dream is more fun than my previous childhood dreams of having my entire body locked in chains by a group of demons talking in a campfire at night before I decided to break the chains and ripped them all to pieces with my claws. This time, I'm tearing dimensions and realities apart."
"I never turn down a good challenge in my dreams. Whether its dealing with zombies, vampires, or demons, I'm going to come out of my dream alive and victorious."
"I'm not experiencing a nightmare, I AM THE NIGHTMARE."
