What?
I think it's fair to say that calling it Hunting only makes you more distant and isolated from other humans. Maybe it's because you call it Hunting that you don't see others as human beings but as resources to be gathered and utilized.
Regardless it's not like you're going to change your terminologies anytime soon, not until you actually experience the beautiful cringe of human relationships. Blergh. Maybe your life would be a little better if you would stop mentally vomiting at the mere mention of "relationships".
Anyway here's the manual you asked for, complete with the conditions to hunt, the methods to hunt, when to push, when to pull, etc.
 s;
Hunt only the target who knows you if:
Hunt only the target who doesn't know you if:
Direct hunting is too intimidating for most targets, it is best to start with parallel hunting with only one goal in mind: to break the ice and establish the first contact. Parallel hunting is about showing a simple normal interest at conversation. This is characterized by little eye contact and large proximal distance. No matter how you are drooling inside, you must pretend that you are a completely normal person who just want to talk like a normal human being, without any more interest or motive except to spend time through casual conversations. Parallel Hunting means simply following and sharing your own flow in pacing with the other party. Thus, if you were to leave or if they were to suddenly leave, you will not be bothered, you must not be bothered because neither of you are attached to each other's flow. This is the essence of casual conversations: light enough to freely enter and exit without any thought.
Do you remember when random people suddenly speak and talk to you about the most random and casual things that often bores you to death? That is what you are going to do. Although it bores you to death, it does not bore them. In fact, it gives them plenty of time to react, get their shit together, and appreciate the fact that you went on your way to speak to a normal human being like them. What's your name, what do you do, how old are you, where are you from, what's your course... these are all totally normal questions, they will only suspect you the moment you believe that you are being weird. As long as you believe that you are normal, they will have no choice but to unconsciously believe that you are normal.
Their motive sensors and weirdness detection algorithms may appear extremely sophisticated and impossible to bypass, especially the most fragile and paranoid individuals. Worry not, most people will give you at least a single chance, one benefit of the doubt to allow you to change their first impression of you. Once chance may feel extremely daunting but don't forget that there are hundreds of people around you, thus giving you unlimited chances to make the most hilarious mistakes that you will forever regret. Fortunately, we live in a society that discounts intuition and prefers concrete evidence. Therefore, as long as you can show or forge concrete evidence that you are a normal, safe, and vulnerable, they will have no choice but to be unconsciously peer pressured to believe that you are actually a normal human being.
When you are the one approaching a target, you should not be the anxious one. They should be. Just because you are sharing their anxiety does not make them any less anxious! Wrong! It will only make them more anxious. If both parties are anxious, then the entire social interaction will become paralyzed! This is what you should avoid the most. Do not ever forget that you are the Hunter, not the target. So do not behave like a target and behave like a hunter. No matter how much you understand the target, do not ducking share their anxiety, fears, and worries. If you do, then you have to express it in words immediately before it sabotages the entire hunting attempt! If you think along the lines of "I'm sorry, you must have been surprised", then you are obligated to say it before it drowns you. If you don't want to say these cringe, then do not think about them at all.
The sharpness and clearness of voice indicates the internal self-esteem of a person. The voice of some annoying duckers are not sharp or clear in the slightest, as if they're trying to be vague as much as possible! This is why you must always be ready to have a note and pen in hand which you can give these duckers in a merciful act of consideration and kindness, where they can write what they want to say. This is so you will not lose your mind trying to ask them "what the duck did you say?" for the ten millionth time.
To be honest, what you should prepare for isn't about what they will say but the situation in which they say nothing. This feeling of talking to a ducking statue is no different than how people feel when they try to talk with you, so you have to be considerate to these statues. Usually, after three minutes of silence, their mind finally finished rebooting where they will take an action: either they will speak something unrelated to what you said or they would decide to leave. Do not ducking blame yourself if this happens. In fact, they are actually blaming themselves for not having the social capacity to reply in the spirit of communication. What you should feel, isn't self-blame or self-hate but pity. You're also a statue like them, except now you're also a moving statue trying their best to be a human being.
I know you have the habit of staring into people's eyes and lips whenever they talk because when you had hearing impairment, then you won't understand them otherwise. But now that you have better hearing, you don't have to do that anymore. This time, to have to practice hearing them or talking to them without needing to see the movements of their eyes, face, and lips. It's definitely annoying and makes the conversations more boring but it helps a lot in making them feel like you're a normal human being. Although you have no problems staring directly into the souls of people, humans are generally uncomfortable maintaining eye contact with strangers.
I agree with you, doing everything to be a ducking normal human being is the most annoying and repulsive thing in the world. It feels as if trying to walk in two legs when you have been used to walking on four limbs in your entire life! I'm really sorry you had to be born in this time and place where you have to adjust to everyone's bullsheeps. It's okay, you can simply forget everything I told you and just live the way you want. You don't have to be a normal human being to be happy. You don't have to be a normal human just to... Since you insist, I'll tell you everything I know.
Humans tend to think that if someone properly and satisfyingly replies to their boring questions in the first round, then they are good candidates for longer and deeper conversations. They believe that other humans think the same. So if you were to start asking them deeper questions and start sharing more emotions after the first round, then they will not be surprised or intimidated. However, you must maintain the Parallel Hunting technique until you are completely sure that they have become comfortable with you. It is bothersome but it will take at least a week of Parallel Hunting before someone becomes comfortable with you. If the first round is highly successful, then it is basic courtesy to ask for their online contacts so you can chat more online.
Not every attempt you will be successful though. Sometimes you will make mistakes. No, you will often make mistakes. At least seven out of ten times, they will realize that you are not actually a human being but a mother ducking statue pretending to be a human being. And they will be shocked, they will be scared, they will be intimidated, they will be hostile, and they will call you names. These scared sheepless bass tardigrades will ducking call you creepy, weird, monster, demon, and everything else that they can imagine. They will think that you can swallow them in one gulp and they're not wrong, except you don't really like the taste of annoying humans.
Lmao that's not actually what would happen. Don't scare him lol. What would realistically happen is that they would doubt themselves and give you another benefit of the doubt, and they will accept any evidence to comfort themselves into thinking that you're actually a normal human. However, some of them can feel very uncomfortable that they just walk away and stop talking entirely. Although you see yourself as something lower than a human, don't overestimate humans either. This modern world have made them a little weak that it's difficult for them to fight, believe, and think for themselves. You shouldn't be scared of them in the slightest. What they can do will always be the less than the tenth of what you can do.
After all, you're the Hunter here.
I know you have been too used to having infinite conversations online. But these real life people are more used to having fragmented, split, and situational conversations. Just because they didn't reply, does not mean they are not interested in talking anymore. You will need to give them adequate time to speak, at least 3 minutes. And you will need to give them at least 3 benefits of the doubt. Thus, only if they explicitly terminate the conversation or if they fail to respond after three times of approaching them and waiting for they reply, should you take it as a sign that they are not interested in you.
Many duckers naturally and unconsciously do persistence tests on human beings. They do this because they are surprised for the first time so they instinctively back down. At the second time, they are less surprised and more receptive. So if you keep giving up on them after the first rejection, then you won't ever pass this stupid persistence tests. These duckers love it when they can anticipate what other people will do and will only respond to others if what other people say aligns or exceeds their expectations. If there's a possibility that they didn't reply because they are surprised, then keep your parallel hunting in alignment to what you told them before and try again. You will need to do a lot of pushing during the first few rounds of hunting.
For humans that you see everyday, they will sometimes try to give you annoying chores at an accelerating frequency. They think that just because you can tolerate their existence, just because you are a little comfortable with them, they can tell you to do anything they want. Do not make the stupid mistake of thinking that they will like you more or that you will get closer to them if you do the tasks they want you to do. No, they will only make you their personal slave and look down on you. If you ever accept any chore from them, then you must find a way to give them a chore that they can do for you. It must be reciprocal. If they reciprocate, then you can get closer by doing tasks do each other. If they didn't, then they most likely just want to get themselves a free slave and you can use this as a valid excuse not to do any more of their chores later.
Extending the conversation is a good thing for the first few times, especially if you're talking to statues. However, if you are the one who keeps approaching first, if you are the one who keeps extending the conversation, there is a great danger that they would completely depend on you which is not a good thing because their subjective valuation of you will actually become lower. If you give too much of yourself too often without asking anything in return, they will unconsciously stop seeing you as equals and start treating you as their subordinate. You must only give what they are willing to reciprocate. Do not let the conversation fall into a one-sided duckery at all costs. Although you can say that it does not bother you for now, it will definitely exhaust you in the long-run. And no, they will not appreciate you for that, they would have most likely have lost interest in you long ago, only keeping you as something to relieve their boredom.
If it feels like the ones you are hunting are becoming more kind, tame, and comfortable, do not assume that they like you in the slightest. As much as possible, for as long as you can, do not bare your fangs unless they bite you first. Do not do any direct hunting unless they have been direct with you. Remain in parallel hunting as long as you can, showing interest and providing help. Don't worry about them thinking about something crazy, for they have been socially conditioned by society to think that everything is normal. Let them go crazy and lose their minds over you but do not lose your mind over them. Pretend to be lured in their trap but do not get trapped yourself. Pull them a little when they are doubting, push them a little when they're trying to make you their slave.
This can take and will definitely take a long long long long long long time. Remember that hunting is all about patience and persistence. The targets may sprint for a long distance but you can jog for many times longer. Endure, hide your drool, trim your claws, and pull your fangs. You must believe that you are a human being, that any weirdness that may appear is just a normal component that appears in any human being. As long as you keep your breath steady, you can do anything all day, all year long.
Eventually, after doing parallel hunting on someone for so long, they eventually let their guard down and appear very excited and enthusiastic. You have to seize this rare moment and keep talking to them for at least an hour so they can finally associate your presence as something comfortable and fun. This moment is so rare that it's not a bad idea to sacrifice an hour of sleep just to make the most out of it.
The more friendlier and extroverted someone is, the more they tend to forget about the schedules they set. When they set a schedule and include you on it, you must absolutely tell them not to forget it (in a joking way), and you must remind it to them the next day even if the event is still going to happen in the far future. It might be a good idea to ask them about their thoughts about it and how they feel about it because more often than not, people don't feel the same way as you do, they do not see you in the way you see them. Their conversation skills and self-expression skills may appear top-tier, these skills may suddenly surge in response to what you do but in no way you must interpret it as anything other than their emotional fluctuations.
It's about waiting for the right opportunity, not the closest opportunity. Do not let yourself get tempted by mere daydreams and possibilities without any substance. You have to stick to the plan no matter what, do not pounce on anything unless the time, place, situation, and mood is in perfect alignment. And they will align, they will definitely align for those who are patient.
Normal humans are driven by anticipation and expectations. They want to be able to expect what happens next, they want to be able to anticipate and predict what is going to occur. Unlike you, they have extreme hatred for surprises and confusion, they dislike everything that feels too uncertain. However, if you try to use formality to create an atmosphere of certainty, you would absolutely fail. These humans have grudges against formality, they think that formal things only exist to condemn and criticize their existence. Therefore, you must strive to be informal and casual as possible, believing that you are, indeed, a normal person just like what they want to believe.
