This word, is the greatest and longest chain I have covered myself in.
I have always thought of myself as someone infinite and eternal, someone who can carry thousands of responsibilities on their back without breaking a sweat. But I... I still can't somehow get used to the constraints and weaknesses of this fragile mortal body. I have to understand that, I no longer have the power to be as responsible as I used to.
Currently, I hold myself responsible for the well-being of 12 people. And also the promises I made to dozens of people I have never even met in real life. They say you can trust a king's promise, it can last for a hundred years. But when a dragon makes a promise, then there is no need for trust, it has already been fulfilled the moment it was said. A dragon's promise is backed by nature itself and it will last for an indefinite amount of time, unless another dragon or god interferes with it. My promises are like that of a dragon's, I shall keep them even if the person I made the promise to turned into my enemy or dies.
Because I am born in a society, I am responsible to work hard and repay the kindness of my family. Because I am a server owner, I am responsible for reading all their messages and replying to some of them, to make them all feel heard and seen. Because I am someone's friend, I am responsible for responding to them and giving them my time. Because I made a foolish promise in the heat of the moment without thinking about it, I am responsible for fulfilling that promise for the rest of my life even when the emotions that gave birth to such stupidity have already died ages ago.
I am a responsible person. Whether there are emotions present or not, I shall fulfill my responsibility. If I break something whether it's an accident or not, I shall secretly replace it by selling one of my limbs and kidneys. If I promised to devote my entire life to something, then regardless whether I am drunk, drugged, or foolish, I will still devote my entire life to it. If I break something whether it's an accident or not, I shall secretly replace it by selling one of my limbs and kidneys. My words are final, and I'll never go back to my words. That is what I am.
But to be honest, I'd rather be responsible for managing a city, building a new organization, or teaching many people than to be responsible for a few humans who aren't anything special. But to abandon them simply because they're not fun or interesting, then I would be no different than others!!
But I am also responsible for my future. I cannot be responsible for so many people while fulfilling my responsibilities for the future. I have no idea what to do. I have already sold all my kidneys to secretly replace the things I have accidentally broken, and now I feel really weak. Perhaps I have no choice but to accept that I am no longer what I used to be, that I am simply a weak human today. But if only I would use my powers, then I no longer have to worry about it Perhaps I have no choice but to accept that I am no longer what I used to be, that I am simply a weak human today. But if only I'm not interested in gaining human points, then I would have used my powers to easily fulfill all my responsibilities. But I need to be human, and I also need to manage my responsibilities better.
I... am too scared of admitting my mistakes, that I would rather punish myself for the rest of my life trying to fix it instead. Am I really a responsible person? Or am I just trying to make myself look better?
Duck, I fell asleep sitting down outside on a chair multiple times while writing this article. And now that I'm trying to publish it, it won't work at all!! How troublesome!!
