"I can hit further than before."

In an interview with David Feherty, a former professional golfer, on Thursday (local time), he said he had shoulder and hand surgery, and spinal fusion surgery. "Now I can hit the ball farther than when I left golf." Anthony Kim has made his comeback as LIV Golf after 12 years of seclusion since the Wells Fargo Championship of the U.S. PGA Tour in 2012. Although he showed disappointing performance at the LIV Golf Jeddah Championship in February, he has shown his performance improvement over and over again. He will participate in the LIV Golf Miami Championship, which will be held for three days from Saturday.

Anthony Kim talked about his tough times due to injury. "I fought against very dark demons for 12 years. Now, I have settled my mind and know that my purpose in this world is golf," he said. Having Korean parents, Kim became a sensation after appearing in the professional golf industry in 2006, winning the Wachovia Championship, AT&T National, and the Houston Open in 2010. In September 2008, Kim ranked sixth in the world, but disappeared after surgery for his Achilles tendon in 2012.

Besides his injuries, Kim admitted he had other problems as well. "I was with bad people, including scammers who used me. Even at the age of 30, I didn't realize the snakes that lived under the same roof," Kim confessed. "I hope I can overcome all my problems with the power of religion and give hope to others."
