Liverpool unveils New uniform for 2024-25 season → 'YNWA' + 84 treble

Liverpool have unveiled their uniforms for the 2024-25 season.

Liverpool unveiled a new uniform to be worn from next season on the club's official website on the 2nd.

Liverpool said, "The new uniform has a yellow pattern, which stands for YNWA (You'll never walk alone), the motto of the song. The yellow and red colors were conceived in 1984 when the song became a treble. Both the top and bottom have white and yellow patterns."

"The uniform is made from recycled plastic bottles. The name and number on the back of the uniform are inspired by Liverpool's historic street signs and will be printed with water-based ink," he added.

Liverpool revealed the main players, including Mohamed Salah, Trent Alexander Arnold, and Virgil van Dijk, wearing uniforms. Liverpool's women's team, along with goalkeeper Alisson Becker, also participated in the filming.

Captain Van Dyke said, "The new uniform for the next season has brought back the retro atmosphere. I'm looking forward to playing in a new uniform. We are a club built on history, and 1984 is one of its outstanding moments in history. I'm sure the fans will also feel grateful for the history of the time."

Liverpool's uniform for next season has meaning to usher in a new era. Liverpool will say goodbye to coach Jurgen Klopp at the end of this season. Klopp took charge of Liverpool in October 2015 and led the team to the top of the Premier League again after overcoming the dark ages. Klopp gave Liverpool the Premier League and the UEFA Champions League (UCL) trophy.

However, Liverpool announced in March that Klopp would be leaving the team at the end of this season. Klopp said he was running out of energy and was looking for a period of recharging. Liverpool quickly looked for a replacement and recently reached an agreement with Feyenoord's Arne Slot. Slot is from the Netherlands and has drawn attention for his aggressive soccer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, an expert on the European football transfer market, Liverpool has reached an agreement with Slot and decided to pay 8.6 million pounds (about 14.8 billion won) in penalty to Feyenoord to recruit him. An official announcement on the appointment of Slot as Liverpool's manager will be made soon.
