I finally found an awesome productivity system that will allow me to complete more tasks, remember more tasks, and have fun without demanding too much of myself.
Since I'm a person who have realized that life is a game of chance, a gamble, that the only way to win is to increase your chances of winning, and not depend too much on futile effort — I believe that this new productivity system would perfectly suit me.
I call this, the Roulette System — where I'll list all the tasks I want to do on a roulette, then spin it whenever I have to pick doing one of them. This saves me time and brain power, which I can use on doing the task instead. I don't have to decide which task I should do on a particular moment, I don't have to remember the tasks I want to do either — they are listed on a colorful wheel.
This one is much more effective and flexible than writing to-do lists on paper, because it's not too demanding, we don't have to use any willpower to do them, but we can rely on destiny to see which one would the universe like us to do at this particular moment in time.
For this productivity system, I have written three sets of tasks — Morning Tasks, Afternoon Tasks, and Evening Tasks in decreasing priority and focus. So the ones that would need the most focus and importance are placed in the morning tasks, the ones that are important but not so urgent are on the afternoon tasks, while the fun ones are on the evening tasks.
Each task set is placed on a digital spinning wheel that gets the winner randomly. I have subsets of tasks too, like Writing Articles, because I have a lot of articles I want to complete but all of them seems to be equal in importance and urgency. A productivity system won't be complete without a Fun System, so I have an entire wheel dedicated to having fun.
Thus, when the time comes where I must have fun, I'll simply spin the wheel to choose what kind of fun I'll have today. Either it would be watching movies, anime, reading webtoons, playing games, or playing with technological stuff, there's plenty of things that destiny has in store for me.
To pour more wine in the barrel (lol what a metaphor), I'm going to integrate this Roulette System into a Productivity Gamification System application, such as Habitica, so that I'll be rewarded and motivated everytime I completed a task assigned to me by destiny in the Roulette System.
For me, a productivity system isn't a way to do things faster or more efficiently, but a way to do tasks in a more fun and enjoyable way.
Come, let's get our creative juices flowing, and splash more colors into our world.
"This idea just suddenly flew to my head while I was eating breakfast yesterday, and now, it's going to change my life."
"There's a huge difference between someone who enjoys their work and those who only work for the salary."
"Btw I wrote this article after the Morning Tasks wheel picked "Writing Article" as my task this morning."
