I have heard of an interesting theory, the Internal Family Systems, which states that the mind is a collective from by numerous self-parts with one greater Self that integrates all these parts. Thus, I have decided to analyze all the parts of myself. These are my managers, firefighters, and exiles.
Arranged from most strict to least strict.
The Great Emperor - A self-part with sense of grandiosity, yet strictly follows all schedules and deadlines, often submitting the required items one day before. The Emperor always ensures that everything must look perfectly fine outside, that all the important basics like house chores and school stuff be completely performed to highest excellence possible. This manager is also responsible for public affairs, ensuring good reputation in the social world.
The Enlightened Monk - A self-part that seems to know and understand the highest levels of spiritual truths in the universe. This Monk is responsible for creating internal moral compass without being caught by the trap of morality plus it always tries to regulate high-intensity emotions of the exiles that can disrupt the proper functioning of the body and the social position of the self. It is the advisor of the Emperor, so it aligns the actions of the Emperor to the highest universal principles as much as possible.
Android Secretary - This is the right-hand man of the Emperor that regularly passes objective information and psychosocial analyses to the Emperor for better decision-making. It assumes the appearance of an android with cold azure eyes and always takes care of the memory, writing, and analysis tasks within the mind. It is the voice of pure reason that reports on cold objective truths and realities about life without any hesitation. It is highly skeptical of anything religious, moralistic, or intense. One of its main tasks is to ensure that the exiles will not escape their prison, that any intense emotions will not leak outside.
The coping mechanisms.
Curious Scientist - A man on white robes who is always beside the Android Secretary. He is a scientist that enjoys performing experiments on the exiles, so he sometimes take them outside the prison to his laboratory whenever it's time to experiment. Whenever any of the exiles run wild, he's the first self-part to be aware of it, so he absorbs all their intense emotions and stores it for future analysis with the Android. Even if everything is falling apart, the Scientist will never forget about the research data and is always ready to sacrifice himself for the sake of science. The Monk can't help but hate the methods of this scientist.
Story-eating Kid - A child who enjoys reading and listening to fun and exciting stories, while hating and ignoring all the bad and lame stories. Whenever the exiles run wild and tells their bad story whenever, this child slams them with countless power fantasies, forcing them to binge read with him instead until they all run out of energy. In this way, the negative energy of the exiles doesn't spread through the entire system. However, this child is wanted by the Emperor with a great bounty on his head because he always unintentionally ruins the Emperor's plans and schedules.
The forgotten ones.
Demonic Beast of Gluttony - A little child who was once innocent and pure, after experiencing unthinkable torture and despair, became possessed by the demonic beast of gluttony. This beast threatens to eat everything and everyone. At minimum, its insatiable curiosity will try to consume all knowledge. At worst, it will try to consume all the other self-parts, all other interpersonal relationships, and eventually the sanity of the Self. Due to the extreme danger it poses to the system, it is locked in the underground prison. Unfortunately, whenever its stomach rumbles from hunger and thirst, it becomes uncontrollable and tries to escape the prison. Still, not all hope is lost. The Monk is always trying to exorcise it while the Scientist is doing everything it can go understand it.
Chained Chaos - One of the most mysterious and powerful self-parts whose power is equal or more than the Emperor. Rumours say that it is actually the Emperor's twin brother. According to the legends, this self-part was so powerful and destructive that it had to seal itself deep below the Abyss. It gave itself countless unbreakable chains so that it would not escape. Despite that, it obsesses over freedom more than anybody else, so if anyone ever tries to free it, convince it, or change it for anything, it would instantly annihilate that thing. If anyone ever slightly touches its chains, this one will obliterate them from existence. Even the Scientist doesn't dare mess with it.
