I

Am tRanChor.
But that's not what I am.

It's just a chosen identity, an in-game avatar that can be changed any moment in time.

Thus, as an administrator, I hereby declare the existence of the following permanent skills:

  • Sever: To cut down on any emotional attachment with ultimate indifference.
  • Refresh: To temporarily relieve any stress and worries, creating space for additional activities.
  • Pause: To temporarily and completely detach from the mundane world for an instant of relaxation.
  • Simplify: To temporarily detach from all conscious thinking, paying complete attention on sensory information for the sake of the task at hand.

Additionally, I hereby declare tomorrow as a day dedicated to building the Empire. Thus, most of the day shall be spent in planning and construction.

Two Commanders

I, have noticed the existence of two commanders within my mind. There is the Frontline Commander, the one who's constantly charging towards reality, is the conscious thinking mind, who always expresses itself using words.

Whenever he's about to do something, He's going to shout loudly for everyone to hear. Whenever it's trying to think and make plans, he's always thinking out loud. Everytime the mind becomes a little idle and starts breaking the formation, it keeps reminding everyone about the to-do list for today. Due to his constant shouting, it's easy for him to get tired. Because he's always in the frontline, it's common for him to get injured.

Then there is is the Silent Commander, the one who can clearly see the entire battlefield from above, the one from the back of my mind, constantly monitoring the Frontline Commander. Whenever the Frontline Commander gets tired or becomes injured from battle, the Silent Commander automatically takes over.

She doesn't say a single word yet everyone follows her orders. A single gaze from her is enough for the entire army to organize itself and stick to the plan. Whenever she takes over, no one dares to get distracted or question anything. She doesn't always go into the frontline but when she does, her sword dance turns everything into an ocean of blood. She only goes to the frontline when the odds of winning are low tho. Most the time, she's watching the battlefield from a high place.

The problem here is that sometimes the Frontline Commander becomes too stubborn to leave and return to the camp when he becomes injured so the Silent Commander can't replace him at all. This often creates great losses to the army and further injures the Frontline Commander more. Even though almost everything gets resolved when the Silent Commander takes over, there are sometimes irrecoverably losses that could have been prevented if the Frontline Commander sticks to the plan.

No, the Silent Commander can't take over forever because she cannot communicate at all. While she may be able to give orders through signs, gestures, and images, she cannot do anything else that requires long and complex communication. The Frontline Commander is the one that can understand her the most but also the one that doesn't always follow her orders. They need to work together to properly react and adapt to the ever-changing reality.
