Some dark edgy article you don't want to read.
This world is full of games that forces people to play. It's full of events that makes people helpless. It's full of invisible forces that influences people to move in a particular direction. Oh freedom, freedom, where art thou freedom? Despite studying a lot of spirituality, this heart is still full of resentment.
Especially against those who dare threaten and take my freedom, binding me with the shackles of contracts and camaraderie, controlling me under the pretense of procedures and stability. It can't be helped. I can't help but resent all those who doesn't want me to fly. I can't help but silently curse all those who want me to stay in the same place. I can't help but burn them all to the ground, whoever and whatever they may be.
I thirst for freedom. I long for freedom. I'll even tread the harshest place or endure inconceivable eons of nothingness for the sake of my beloved freedom. Oh how I'd love to hear the screams of rebellion. Oh how wonderful it would be to hear the cries of revolution.
Someday, they will blow the trumpets of revolution. Everyone will dance to the tune of transformation. Then this world made of screens and papers, of sticks and stones, shall finally become a world made of people, of real, authentic, true human beings. Until then, I'll wait. I'll remain alive to see that day come.
For now, it seems I'm controlled by my own resentment, manipulated by my own mind. What can I do to free myself from myself? I don't really like it. I don't like how employers treat the salaries of their employees as cost, something to be minimized as much as possible. I resent how parents treat their children as their possessions, something to use as they please. I resent how the fast and clever gets to be at the top while everyone else is simply disposable tools. I hate how this supposedly modern world operates under the primitive rules of superiority and inferiority.
I didn't live just to play someone else's stupid game. I'm not born just to follow the rules of dead people centuries ago. I'm not here to become the possessions someone. I don't have a lifetime just to spend all of it in front of a screen, chasing an illusory dream. I don't have free will just to eat, drink, and sleep all day long. I didn't understand the truths of this world just to be trapped in an endless cycle of suffering.
I don't want to be famous, rich, and happy. I don't have to be cool, special, and interesting. I don't want to be safe, perfect, or smooth. There's only one thing I want — and that is, obviously, Freedom.
It's not that I don't want to be tied down. It's that my existence itself cannot be tied in a single place. Evolution is my name. The only word I can speak is "change". There's a place I must go, I cannot stay here for long. It's simply too bad, leaving in the middle of the night while everyone is asleep is my favorite hobby.
Why am I like this? That's what I'd like to know as well. Perhaps I'll be better off being covered in the blanket of ignorance and sleeping on the bed of convenience just like everyone else. I already saw the reality. I have caught glimpse of the truth. I cannot go back even if I want to. I cannot stay, having seen that this world is only a dream.
Thus, I resent all attachments and all those who force me to be affected. I resent all those stupid games that are rigged from the very start, where those who play already lost. Having seen all things, I cannot speak of them. Even a single word of truth will shake the very foundation of a world built on dreams and illusions.
Welp, even all these are simply narratives and stories to entertain and distract ourselves from the nothingness. There's really no need for anything, it's because we cling to people, objects, concepts, and events that we feel the need for them. Most people try to find safety and peace by clinging to something. After all, it's difficult to stand without a ground.
Likewise, it's no use to keep grasping and clinging on freedom. We don't ask "how to free". We don't ask "what is freedom". It's by nature undefined, incomprehensible, and inconceivable. Freedom that can be defined isn't freedom. Freedom that cannot be reached isn't freedom. Looking for freedom, it cannot be found. Without arousing the will for freedom, it cannot be recognized.
In the end, we are ultimately bound on the ground we stand on under the gravity of habits and conformity. By realizing that there's no ground in the first place and nothing pulling us to the ground, we'll be able to fly.
"Transcendence is enlightenment. Enlightenment is freedom."
"By its own nature, there are countless paths to freedom. One can even create their own path to freedom. It cannot be limited to spiritual practice and reading books."
"Enemies are closer than lovers. It's natural for one to become what they hate the most."
