"Nexen, St. Nine's Our Town Masters" premieres at 10 p.m. on the 22nd

The event that shook the Korean golf community last year has returned.

The "Nexen/St. Nine Our Town Masters," which will be the center of a strong gust of wind, will premiere on JTBC Golf at 10 p.m. on the 22nd (Wednesday).

The competition, which is open to anyone who loves golf regardless of gender, school ties, or delay, is a nine-hole transformation stroke match between teams of two men and one woman.
Unlike last year, the final six teams will play the semifinals and the final after the first and second rounds of preliminary rounds, the final round of 18 and the final round of the finals. The winning community will receive 20 million won (18,400 U.S. dollars) and the runner-up community will receive 10 million won (16,400 dollars).

In the first preliminary round held in April, 108 teams from all over the country participated, and it is rumored that a large number of amateur golf masters appeared, ranging from 18-year-old high school students to 80-year-old Korean amateur golf players.

From the preliminary round, there were many strong players who turned to the bitter taste, and after two days of preliminary rounds, a total of 18 teams made it to the first round.

A cutoff system has been introduced for this year's finals. At the end of Hole 6, the team with the most pars is eliminated early, and only the top two teams can compete in an alternative shot method of three.

Thanks to the cut-off system, the tension of the game has doubled and the players' concentration has improved, allowing them to enjoy a more thrilling match.

On top of that, it is worth paying attention to the additional competition with the establishment of a new par-5 hole eagle zone with five extreme soft black duzens from Nexen and St. John's and the Nearlist Award given to individuals.

This year's first competition will be held at Gimcheon Grape Country Club in North Gyeongsang Province, the venue of last year's competition. Thanks to the course condition optimized for displaying players' skills and the weather, the team expects higher quality competitions.

In addition, the Hildesheim Country Club in Eumseong, Chungcheongbuk-do, where the second tournament will be held, is a no-caddie golf course, which is expected to be a stage to test the unity of community members and the ability to operate the game.

"Nexen and St. Nine Our Town Masters" airs every Wednesday at 10 p.m. on JTBC Golf from May 22nd and accepts the second preliminary round through the JTBC Golf website until May 30th.
