'10 Years of Love' Kium Song Sung-moon, 17, and Hye-rim Cho, 100 years..."Thank you for always being there for me since high school"

Kiwoom Heroes infielder Song Sung-moon (27) is getting married after a 10-year relationship.

"Song Sung-moon will tie the knot with his bride, Cho Hye-rim (26), at Grand Hill Convention, located in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, on July 17 at 3 p.m.," Kiwoom announced on Friday.

Song and Cho met through a junior and dated for 10 years, starting when they were students.

For Song Sung-moon, his bride-to-be was a sanctuary and a source of energy. When they met at the '2023 Heroes Charity Event' on March 3, he said, "My girlfriend's MBTI is F, but she's a T for me. She comforts me a lot when I'm really struggling, but when I'm weak, she tells me a lot of realistic things. She's been watching me play baseball since she was a kid, so sometimes she'll say things like, 'Why did you hit that ball? But when I talk to him like that, my stress gradually disappears," he said.

"We've been living together since this year, and it's definitely been good. It's not easy to talk about baseball with my parents, so there were many stressful days in my room alone. But I was able to open up to my bride-to-be. When we were in a relationship, we only talked on Mondays, but now that we come home and talk every day, it's nice to get things off our chests quickly."

Marriage has given Song a lot of responsibilities. He took his baseball gear with him on his honeymoon and vowed not to skip his personal training. After a seven-day, nine-night honeymoon in Hawaii, the couple set up shop in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

Through the club, Song Sung-moon said, "I want to get better at baseball. I will always be grateful to my bride-to-be for always being by my side from high school to now. Now that we're together, we want to live happily together, helping each other," he said.
