TRANSLATION (resistance song / poem):

"In this war, without any effort [or reason], what meaning is there? - until [we] set fires, even if it is a small hut, in the blaze of oppression - set fire and be bewildered. In the darkness of tyranny set fire, and when stunned - whoever you are, your uprising shall not be silenced.

One who has made a plan in mind - with bloodshed come along - when the faithful commander has made up a plan in mind, he has filled [it] with agony. Ibrahim [Abraham], with an army hand, a dagger in war, sharpened well - Shirata Ghota [place/name], around the earth we carry, and we carry ammunition little by little. We carry no little faith; do not give the right to doubt - there is no infidel; we too have faith.

What a path of action - the two worlds revolving - the wise ones' throne in movement - the master's era interpreting - the wise men's way in motion. What a path of action - soaring with injustice - like the beloved's care - how the slave's home was, your place - until what point - what a feeling, blood-thirsty - go now - the great night, without a head, without a branch, without a foothold, without a father - good going there - bitter going - broken and torn apart - carried away."

TRANSLATION:

"Youth Journey. We are with you in today's episode of our talk programme called 'First Journey'. In today's conversation we want to talk about friendship and making friends during youth.

Why does someone feel the need to socialise with a friend? Could it be because humans are social beings? Or do they want to gain life knowledge and social knowledge through socialising? In reality, young people tend to make friends with others more than other age groups for two reasons.

First, a young person wants to gain a certain position among their peers, be accepted by the group, and thereby overcome the feeling of loneliness. On the other hand, a young person can express themselves in a friendship circle and, in other words, show their abilities by saying 'I exist too.'

Friendship has a deep and unique history in our culture and literature. For example, some of our thinkers have said: 'Find a friend, because a friend is your support in joy and in hardship.'

Or they have said: 'Whoever has many friends is a scourge to their enemies.'

One of the factors that influences the lives and destinies of young people is friendship and unity of heart. Every idealistic young person must be very meticulous about finding friends in order to attain higher levels of perfection and to strengthen their character. Just as a person is careful and meticulous in choosing clothing... they should be equally meticulous in finding a friend. Because, just as clothing reflects a person's relative personality, a friend also has deep and hidden influences on a person. This subject has been frequently emphasised in Islamic narrations.

Getting to know a person before becoming friends with them, then observing the limits of friendship, and watching for the good qualities of a friend - these are subjects emphasised in Islamic teachings.

Almighty God, in the Holy Quran, regarding those who are careless in choosing friends, in verse 28 of Surah Al-Furqan, speaks of their regret - [saying] that these people [will cry out]: 'Would that I had not taken such-and-such a person as a friend!'

A person needs to be in constant companionship with others throughout their life. Indeed, just as people feel deep happiness from having good friends, they also suffer greatly from loneliness, and the absence of a suitable, honest friend deeply distresses them.

Sometimes people, out of carelessness or lacking the right perspective on the matter, act hastily when forced to make a choice, and this - perhaps because of a seemingly minor and insignificant mistake - may prepare the ground for their downfall and going astray. Therefore..."
