Full Tilt Poker has begun offering Instant eChecks as a deposit option for select members.

If Full Tilt makes Instant eChecks widely available, it will become just the second U.S.-facing poker room to offer this option. PokerStars began offering Instant eChecks in August.

Instant eChecks use Electronic Fund Transfers to transfer money from checking accounts to player accounts. At PokerStars, players need to provide the routing and account numbers for their banks in addition to social security numbers, date of birth and phone numbers.

The Instant eChecks are the first "instant" depositing method available to American customers since NETeller exited the U.S. market in January following the arrests of its two co-founders.
