Hadong elementary school volleyball team ranked third in the national elementary school volleyball tournament

The Hadong-gun Sports Council said that the Hadong elementary school volleyball team ranked third at the "2024 National Elementary School Volleyball Competition" held at two other places besides Wooseul Gymnasium in Haenam-gun, Jeollanam-do from August 2-6.

Hadong Elementary School's volleyball team, led by head coach Kim Dong-in, consists of 11 players, including captain Lee Tae-hyun, and is rapidly growing with solid power, winning third place as a result of matching hands and sweating for the tournament.

Hadong Elementary School's volleyball team defeated Suncheon Daeseok Elementary School, Andong Yeongho Elementary School, and Namyang Elementary School in Gyeonggi Province in the preliminary round, advancing to the round of 12 and winning against Gakri Elementary School in Chungbuk in the round of 12 and Suseong Elementary School in Daegu in the round of 8.

In the semifinals, he ended the tournament unfortunately by losing against Changwon Daewon Elementary School.

Chairman Kim Woo-yeol said, "I am grateful and proud of the players who have made great achievements in the national volleyball tournament," and added, "We will encourage players who work hard even in difficult conditions and support them to train in a better environment."

Meanwhile, the Hadong Elementary School Volleyball Team will participate in the "2024 Autumn Bae National Elementary School Volleyball Competition" to be held in Jeongeup, Jeollabuk-do, from September 26 to prove its ability once again.
