2023 World Senior Badminton Championship at Hwasan Gymnasium and Jeonju Indoor Badminton Stadium in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, for seven days from the 11th to the 17th.

The competition, which was first held in Sofia, Bulgaria in 2003, was held every two years and marks its 11th anniversary this year.

More than 1,200 athletes from 45 countries will participate in the competition, and about 2,000 badminton officials, including BWF executives, international referees and accompanying families, will visit Jeonju.

Professional players and former national team players and club members can also participate, and the game will be held in 10 age groups over the age of 35.

Jung Gil-soon and Jung So-young (92 Barcelona Olympics women's doubles gold medal), former national team player Yoo Yeon-sung, former national team coach Kwon Seung-taek, and current Jeonbuk Bank team coach Kim Hyo-sung will participate in the competition.

As an overseas player, Tony Gunawan from Indonesia, a gold medalist in the men's uniform at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, will represent the United States, and former Thai national team member Bunsak Vonsana will participate.
