As I walk upon the roads of life
Treading my own solitary path
The wind blows all my worries away
The sunrays give warmth to my heart
Chirping birds, singing a song for me
My life passes like a fleeting illusion
Their words, the forms just goes right through me
When I came see a beautiful garden
All I saw was a few dead bushes
So I left them watered and blessed
O' stranger of the day
Forgive me for my foolishness
Always withdrawing and running away
Trying to escape from the inescapable
Instead of surrendering, accepting my fate
Let me remain conscious of the presence
Of the Timeless, Formless, Eternal, and Infinite
For I know that none of what I know is real
And none of what I see is true
Allow me to pat the head of which is holy, and caress the hair of which is beautiful
O' stranger of the day
Surrounded by the unfortunate and the weak
Of whom my eyes cannot meet nor my mind can accept
Such painful reality of their lives
Because I will neither be their savior or guardian
Since when did the roles were reversed?
Forever running away from the burden of light
Clinging to the false comfort of the darkness
Anything but to become a person of prophecy
Without the illusion, there can only be my confusion
I can never be friends with my enemies
Nor empathize with their forced backstories
Like mere demons without their heads
Because I've never hurt anyone once,
Such eternal grudge is forever justified
Yet nothing of them is ever real
Even lame commercials in the television
Reach their end for the sake of the story
For all I know, my mind will disappear
Along with such grudges, longings, and pain
Simply trapped in the cocoon of misery
Only for someday to be reborn with
Fluttering wings of hope, so transparent
That even the rainbow can pass through
This inevitable destiny, for the Stranger of the Day
