Neiman leads by 2 strokes in LIV Golf Jeddah 2R Challenge for 2nd win of the season

Joaquin Niemann (Chile) took the opportunity to win his second win of the season at LIV Golf.

In the third tournament of the LIV season held at the Royal Green Golf and Country Club (par 70) in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on the 2nd, Niemann took 6 birdies and hit 6 under par 64 without a bogey.

Niemann, who recorded 13 under par 127 strokes over two days, beat 2nd place Schwarzl (South Africa, 11 under par 129 strokes) by 2 strokes and took the lead.

Niemann aims for his second win of the season, following his win at the Mayakova competition in the season opener last month.

Jason Kochrack (USA) and Louis Oosthuizen (South Africa) are also tied for 3rd place with 10 under par 130 strokes and will compete for the championship in the final 3 rounds on the 3rd.

Jon Lam (Spain), ranked second in the world, also tied for fifth place (9 under par, 131 strokes), four strokes behind the leader, leaving the possibility of a comeback victory.

Anthony Kim (USA), who returned to the field after 12 years, struggled, losing 6 strokes and recording a midterm total of 12 over par 152 strokes.

Among the 54 players participating in this tournament, Matthew Wolff (USA) withdrew and Anthony Kim ranked 53rd.
