Two New Joint Royalty Programs at Nevada Casinos

Loyal customers of Grand Sierra Resort and Casino and Sahara Las Vegas can now double the benefits. On Oct. 1, sister properties will launch a brand-new Infinity Rewards co-loyalty program that allows players to earn and receive rewards at both destinations.

For the first time, GSR and Sahara use the same benefit system to offer seamless loyalty rewards to their members. Infinity Rewards card holders can receive unique benefits, personalized offers from both GSR and Sahara, and access the amenities of the two resorts, including spa services, upgraded rooms, and dinners, at popular culinary destinations such as Jose Andres Bazaar Meat in Sahara Las Vegas and Charlie Palmer Steak in GSR.

Linking up loyalty programs is another step in the ongoing evolution of GSR and SHARHAD under the ownership of Alex Meruelo. Since purchasing GSR in 2011, Meruelo has invested more than $250 million in renovations to make it the premier gaming resort in Nevada, northern GSR. Meruelo began investing another $150 million to transform the Sahara with the purchase of the iconic strip resort in 2018. Investing in the integration and upgrade of rewards programs to the new Infinity Records, which are built on the superior experience players have been expecting from GSR and Sahara, will provide greater value for loyalty. Future benefits of the new loyalty program will include special access to entertainment and resort amenities.

The Infinity Rewards will replace GSR's Club Grand and Sahara's Club 52. Current cardholders in both programs will maintain tier status in the equivalent Infinity Rewards tier and will not lose points or comp during the transition period. Club Grand and Club 52 member accounts will be automatically transferred to Infinity Rewards on Oct. 1, and players will only need to receive their new loyalty card from the Infinity Rewards desk before playing at both facilities.

The upgraded Infinity Rewards program comes with improved dining and room discounts, birthday point multipliers, and bonus lottery items, along with a sleek new design featuring six new tier levels and colors. Tier levels include Select, Premier, Elite, Legend, Iconic, and Infinite. Players will stay in the tier for 12 months. Customers who sign up as new Infinity Rewards members this October will receive an exclusive new membership bonus to sign up for the program.
