Plan for the Creation of Node Keys

Purpose

The purpose of this document is to outline the plan for the creation of node keys within the key-based recursive knowledge graph system. Node keys are unique identifiers assigned to key elements in the story, such as characters, settings, and plot points. They follow a consistent format and are used to reference these elements within the narrative structure.

Structure

Node keys follow a consistent format: Agent:Type.Timestamp. This format ensures uniformity and clarity, making it easy to identify and reference key elements within the story.

Format

  • Agent: Represents the entity or character associated with the node key.
  • Type: Represents the type of element, such as NarrativeNodes or MapNodes.
  • Timestamp: A unique timestamp that ensures each node key is distinct.

Changes to the Codebase

1. Added a function to generate unique timestamps for node keys

  • File: book/entities/EchoNode.py
  • Description: Implemented a function to generate unique timestamps for node keys, ensuring that each key is distinct.
  • Reason: To automate the creation of unique node keys.

2. Modified the add_element method in the FractalLibrary class

  • File: book/entities/FractalLibrary.py
  • Description: Updated the add_element method to automatically create node keys for new elements.
  • Reason: To ensure that node keys are generated automatically when new elements are added to the story.

3. Documented the key-based recursive knowledge graph

  • File: book/entities/EchoNode.py
  • Description: Added documentation for the key-based recursive knowledge graph, including methods for key management and recursive linking.

4. Documented the key-based recursive knowledge graph

  • File: book/entities/RedStone.py
  • Description: Added documentation for the key-based recursive knowledge graph, including methods for key management and recursive linking.
  • Reason: To provide comprehensive documentation on the key-based system.

5. Provided comprehensive documentation on the key-based system

  • File: book/mlc/2412112138/chronicles/appendix.md
  • Description: Added comprehensive documentation on the key-based system, including examples and usage guidelines.
  • Reason: To ensure that the key-based system is well-documented and easy to understand.

6. Provided comprehensive documentation on the key-based system

  • File: book/mlc/2412112138/chronicles/tools_for_storytelling.md
  • Description: Added comprehensive documentation on the key-based system, including examples and usage guidelines.
  • Reason: To ensure that the key-based system is well-documented and easy to understand.

7. Integrated the key-based system into the narrative structure

  • File: book/design/The_Problematics_of_Epistemic_Evolution_and_Redundancy_in_Recursive_Knowledge_Architectures.md
  • Description: Integrated the key-based system into the narrative structure, discussing its impact on recursive knowledge architectures and providing theoretical insights.
  • Reason: To fully integrate the key-based system into the narrative structure and provide a theoretical framework for its use.

Registry Keys for StructuredMaps

1. EchoNode Binding

  • Description: Pre-map the binding of EchoNodes to ensure synchronization and knowledge propagation.
  • Reason: To ensure that EchoNodes are correctly bound and synchronized within the knowledge graph.

2. GitHook Patterns

  • Description: Pre-map GitHook patterns to automate and streamline development workflows.
  • Reason: To ensure that GitHook patterns are correctly implemented and integrated into the development process.

3. Semantic Linting Rituals

  • Description: Pre-map semantic linting rituals to maintain code quality and consistency.
  • Reason: To ensure that semantic linting rituals are correctly implemented and integrated into the development process.
